Opened the one 24-pack retail box I got. Thank God for one card, otherwise it would have been pretty meh-
Auto-Malcolm Delaney Red Wave (3)-Frank Mason III RC, Dwayne Casey, Jeff Teague Silver RCs-Kyle Kuzma (woohoo!!!), Ike Anibogu Base RCs (15) incl Kuzma, Fultz My lone cello box is staring at me, tempting me, but I'm already ahead so it's a tough call |

It's funny. The cellos I had were so loaded, the retail is a bummer, though it really isn't. I think people were so spoiled by the loaded cellos case I had, if they don't get $200 from each retail box it's a failure.
Even the bad boxes have a decent return considering what the rookies are doing and you have 15 or more chances at a rookie refractor/shimmer, which isn't bad. |

Just watched a guy get roasted on facebook trying to sell 4 Cello packs for $65 instead of $40. Cracked me up. What exactly do these people expect? The attitude was, "how dare he?" It's really sad...

What is the difference between Regular Prizm and Fast Break Prizm cases/boxes?

i would avoid fast break boxes at their current levels. its pretty much a seperate release, using the same pics as Prizm, far less parallels. Think 2016/17 Mosaic (but the same pics)

Thank you. I am finding this years basketball very confusing for Prizm. I'm seeing 2 different hobby releases (which you are saying are night and day), many retail releases, this FOTL crap, and everything seems to have it's own assortment of parallels that are exclusive to the package type. If this is what I have been missing the last few years of not collecting I may just not come back.

yea, the last two years have been *interesting* for Prizm
last year, Panini decided to do away with your "traditional" NBA hobby box (20 packs, 5-6 cards per pack) in favor of only "jumbo" for hobby release (12 packs, 12 cards per pack) so, here is what has been released for NBA Prizm the last two seasons: 2016: Jumbo Retail - 24ct Blaster Value Pack (called by some people: Rack Pack, Fat Pack, Cello) - 3 retail packs & 1 "starburst" pack (formally RW&B, which they brought back in 2017) Mosaic - released as a "makeup" for the "Best of Basketball" debacle - 3 packs per box, 10 cards per pack. Totally new numbering, pictures and card design 2017: Fast Break - 18 packs, 5 cards per - same numbering and appearance as Prizm Jumbo - First Off The Line (FOTL) Jumbo Retail - 24ct Blaster Value Pack (called by some people: Rack Pack, Fat Pack, Cello) - 3 retail packs & 1 "RW&B starburst" pack
