Is there a human being alive that has had even moderate success selling on this thing (not just cards or sports stuff, even)?

I've sold to 1 guy out of like 50 buyer initiated conversations.

Try searching Facebook for local consignment pages. Here in Lincoln we have a general one where you set your own price and another where it's auction oriented and everything starts at a buck. Never had an item go unsold on either and sold over 50 random items from Dvds, clothes, cards, etc

I've sold 3 out of 4 things I've put on there. Those same 4 things, not even a peep on offerup tho lol

It's just like facebook pages. On LetGo you say "I am interested" and on Facebook you "like" something, or write "interested" and then you never hear from someone. I don't give a F if you are interested, if you want to come see it or buy it, let me know.

If I did that stuff full time I'd go crazy.

I have yet to have any luck on offerup or letgo. My main success has been facebook marketplace of late

I use Letgo for our furniture store(vintage) and get ALOT of inquiries, and about 3-4 sales a month from it. Offer up and 5miles are dead, no longer use.

I'm thinking that LetGo was created as a social experiment on wasting others' time.

Had a guy about a month ago ask about a bunch of different cards. Narrows it down a bunch to two cards, and haggles both to under $10 total. Ok, fine. Then doesn't say anything for 10 days, so I ask if he still wants them (I hate to keep loose ends), and he blocks me. LOL..
