I think I'd be allowed in since I'm buying it. It wasn't like I bought a slot and then randomized until I rec'd a good team. If not, I'm ok with that too. Pens for Avs - noted out front.

Looks like you have the YG lineup all set up then John with Isles, Avs, Philly, TBay. That should be a good investment!! Hope we hit all the major rookies (plus a nice HH auto painting of Brodeur for myself).

In the super rare instance that we pull a Gordie Howe auto (Hartford Whalers in checklist) will that fall to Carolina or be randomed out?

Yeah the trades all worked out..so now I just have to wait and see the hits. I think the Howe would be randomized off since there's no nhl team affiliation.

He's leading the league in rookie scoring, shook off an early concussion and posted 3 assists last game. Playmaking LW, I think BAMBAM has posted he will be buying often.

They should all be team unis or the team written on the card with the team I listed (in the event of a practice jersey photo).

Yeah, sorry VC, no CBJs or STLs for the YGs. No YGs for the Devils either.

We should keep this same group going for other team hockey breaks this year (Trilogy, Ice, SPX). Just weight the bottom teams into 2 teams per slot (NSH/EDM, PHX/CAR, STL/CBJ, FLA/DAL) for a total of 26 slots. It's going to be a good hockey year!!

I wouldn't mind having VAN for Series 2 if Hodgson is in it.

Hey guys, just thought of this looking at the other postings....there should be a YG checklist card right? Usually depicts a couple of the top picks on it. Any ideas on how to distribute? Technically I wouldn't mind seeing those go to the teams without YGs in them to give those holders some value at least (and I don't need it for the Devils). Thoughts?

I'm assuming the host will randomize the card between the two teams that are on the card.

That would be the other option which I would be fine with as well, just throwing ideas out.

It's up to the host if he wants to do the other option...but that means a bigger list to randomize. If he wants to keep it simple then it will be between the 2 teams on the checklist or however many teams are on it.

I honestly don't care which way we do it...but we should ask him first, then if he says he doesn't care...then we should vote on it!

As stated on the 1st page...

"The only pulls that will be randomized are insert/jersey/material cards that feature more than 1 team or no NHL team. So, if a Flyers/Pens/Caps triple jersey gets pulled, then those 3 people will be randomized for that card."

MHP,

Not speaking on his behalf, but I offered SJ (3 YGs) and Edmonton (1 YG) for Buffalo and Fins opted to hold on to Buffalo.

Is Buffalo a good team to have? Also when will the break happen, if the case ships today?

So what can I get out of this break? Maybe a jersey card?

How can not make at least one young gun from each team?
