2018-2019 College Basketball HYPE Thread
Just watched Kansas beat Michigan State and now Zion vs Kentucky. I know BO isn't huge into NCAA vs the NBA but figured there should be a daily hype thread for the season for the fun games.

Cuse only gave up 10 pts in first half (I know... E. Washington). Zone might be best one in a long time. Offense needs work.
Duke is loaded.

Every year Cuse is quietly a contender in March. Duke is ridiculous, but I think Kansas might be the most complete team. The blue chip schools seem to be higher than ever this year in the polls besides Nevada and Zaga

2018-2019 College Basketball HYPE Thread
Zion has some impressive offense. Had a smooth three point stroke. A nice assist in transition. Nice touch at the rim. And I’m not sure who will out rebound him.

I didn't see much of Kansas as I was at the Dome... I know they are supposed to be really good tho. This Duke team is going to be a real problem in ACC. Looks like the hype is real.

Just posted in Off Topic that Williamson is the real deal. Just in this first half he had some moves that had me going OMG. That pass under the basket was unreal.

Zion and Barrett together look hard to stop. I've heard all about why UK is the team to beat but Duke's sure going to have people over thinking that after tonight.

Don’t forget Reddish. I think he may be the second best player on the team.

Crazy how Zion is doing this at 285 pounds (and that's probably conservative). He's not fat, either. Yolked up.
I've heard of NBA ready bodies, but this is on a whole new level. It's going to be tough for any NBA player to D him up on any part of the floor. |

It's going to be hard for NBA players to D up on him for sure. The short term and tougher question..who on a daily night in college is suppose to defend him when you can't double him with the other options?

I might be proven wrong later in the year...but I'm not buying all this Nevada/Gonzaga hype. Those teams roll through their cupcake conference every year and are usually out by the Sweet 16. |

Hate to get ahead of myself, but I hope Zion lives up to the hype. The hobby's been dying for a true Lebron successor for a decade and a half. Not only does he have indescribable tools and athleticism, but he seems intelligent and is great on a mic. We'll see. |
