The St. Louis Cardinals were in the Burgh this weekend and I was able to graph them 2 days this weekend. I was very pleased with my results. A lot of people did not need Kolten Wong so I had some help as he is one per. I wore a shirt from his clothing line (he is one of my favorite players in MLB) and he told me "That's a sick shirt". Finally was able to get one of my white whales, Matt Carpenter. I have not been able to get him at all the past few years as he never signs and has always been tough, but I was finally fortunate enough to get him.

Tommy Pham is a piece of work. He has always been a tough get. I finally saw him signing inside one day and he signed for the guy next to me and I asked him to sign my card and he stared right at me and said "no". Brett Cecil kept on telling me "not today" on multiple occasions even when I was the only one asking for him.

I also made trades to acquire the Matt Duffy and Starin Castro balls.

Thanks for reading!

One thing I was a little shocked by was Gustavo Nunez ignoring me inside when I was the only person asking for him.

The best autograph I got was one that I won from buying a $2 raffle ticket...

Authentic David Wright signed jersey with the 2013 All Star Game Patch on the sleeve. I was so stoked to win this and It's one of my favorite autographs I got!!

Best $2 I ever spent

that's awesome and the Wright jersey looks sweet...

I always liked Wright and funny story...I'm a few years older than Wright and When I was a toddler, we lived in VA. My dad's best friend was a police officer and when I outgrew my Power Wheels motorcycle, my dad gave it to him for his kid. When she outgrew it, he gave it to his boss in the Police Dept's kid, who in his words "was a chubby kid who probably broke it". Well, turned out that chubby kid was David Wright. When Wright made the bigs, my dads friend got a signed 8x10 of Wright from his dad with the "inscription, To Brian Thanks for the Wheels"

Milwaukee Brewers were in town this week. I was able to take a couple days to graph these guys. I love when they come to town. One of the best signing teams in the league. I managed to get a lot of stuff done and I;m happy with my results.

My favorite item I got this series came from one of my favorite Pirates, Cutch. Thrilled with how my Gold Glove Replica turned out!!!!

Living in St. Louis and being a life-long Cards fan, Tommy Pham is one of the worst signers. He has an awful attitude and thinks he's something else. Awesome haul with the rest, and I would imagine the others weren't big jerks.

Haven't had time to post some of stuff lately till now

TTM Maildays:
Mitch Keller, 4/4, c/o Bradenton Marauders
Kevin Newman, 2/4 (didn't send back other 2 unsigned cards), c/o Altoona Curve
Alex Kirilloff, 2/2, c/o Elizabethton Twins
Bruce Bochy, 2/3 (sent unsigned card back), c/o San Francisco Giants
Billy Wagner, 3/3, c/o Home
Ronda Rousey, 1/1, c/o Glendale Fight Club

I am stoked to get Rousey back. I sent that 1-2 years ago and it was my first magazine I ever sent and the first I got back signed!

Also hit up Steelers Training Camp Sunday. I totally forgot how big of a madhouse it is for autographs. People shoving you no matter what age, and I was shoved on the ground and people walked over me and didn't care, security and some players yelling to get back. I was thrilled to get two, including Debo (James Harrison). If you have never seen his workout videos on IG, I highly recommend watching them. Dude is a beast and hes one of my favorite Steelers ever and this was the first time I ever got him as I heard he is tough!

Graphed the Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates. I did pregame outside, inside, and post game. I had the most amount of autographs I ever got in one day; 49. Amazing day and I always love when the Reds come to town. One of the best signing teams in baseball, if not the best. I had some help with the one per guys like Schebler, Alcantara, Barnhart, and Iglesias. Also had a funny interaction with Billy Hamilton postgame which made my day. Here's the haul

Have been rather busy lately doing some graphin'.

Hartford Yard Goats vs. Erie Seawolves. August 6, 2017

This was kind of a weird day. I wanted to watch Brendan Rodgers play as I have never seen him before (last time I saw Hartford, which was in Binghamton, Rodgers left a day early to go to the Futures Game), so I was excited to make this trip. When I get there, he signed only 5 inside after warm ups for the 10 or so people waiting for him. And of course, after his first AB, he was pulled from the game due to injury . Postgame, Rodgers came out a door separate from everyone else and went straight to the bus, and did not sign for anyone. Had a good day otherwise and was fortunate to get at least one Rodgers. I had help Beau Burrows and Ryan Castellani as they are 1 per. Stephen Cardullo is a weird dude. I watched him only sign one per and he was personalizing the cards and signed it really small. Never seen anything like that at the AA level.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Detroit Tigers. August 9, 2017

This was my first time I have ever watched my Pirates on the road and was very excited to make this spontaneous trip. I have always heard the Bucs were good signers on the road and I was happy with my results. Not often that I could get all of these guys in one day at PNC. The Taillon photo was a selfie I took with him downtown one day. He told me it was good to see me again. The Bell ball was actually a ball he used during warm ups 8/7/2017 vs. Detroit. My boss gave me awesome seats so I was trying to get a ball, He was about to throw the ball into the dugout and I yelled "Josh!"and he turned around, looked right at me, and threw it right to me. It was cool that some of the guys on the team recognized me and said hi.

Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp. August 14, 2017

Decided to make one last trip up to camp. It's an absolute mad house trying to get autographs as people push and shove with zero care in the world. I was shoved on the ground and people walked right over me as I was on the ground and even bending one of my photos. It also doesn't help either that players can leave the field by cart in one side of the field or walk back up the hill on the complete opposite side of the field, but I still managed to get a couple graphs. Shazier did not want to sign my photo as he kept skipping me, I finally said "you can use the same pen on mine" and he finally did it. Unfortunately, the pen he was using was pretty bad but I'll take it. Arthur Moats was very cool and was talking to me about my photo and when it was taken, and how he liked it. Not a bad day overall
