Which bowman 2011 box is better ?
Price is similar but one is
2011 bowman baseball jumbo And the other is 2011 bowman chrome hobby box I have been trying to determine which box has a better chance at high dollar cards. I would think its similar since the box prices are similar but I am kinda new to modern boxes. |

I would think the bowman jumbo would give you better odds at a harper auto with 3 chances versus one with chrome. Curious why others choose chrome.

I thought the same thing originally but both boxes are the same price...made me wonder what I was missing in the chrome box that makes the chrome box similar pricin .

maybe the checklist is better in chrome? I would suggest checking that out and then making your decision.

The Bowman is his first auto in a pro Uni, prices are all over the place due to his streaky auto. Finding one with a bold auto is tough. I personally like Bowman better. I did pull a nice Harper auto out of Bowman Jumbo

Trout doesn't have anything in regular Bowman. He has RC's in Bowman Chrome and Draft. I think Bowman has the Harper autos and chrome autos of Paul Goldschmidt and Starling Marte. Off the top of my head those are the best guys. I can't remember which one has Chris Archer but I was thinking he was in Chrome. I'll dig up some checklists.

The Harper autograph in regular Bowman is not the Chrome version, it is the paper version.

Some (but not all) of the Harper paper autos in 2011 Bowman were redemptions which have now expired so you should keep that in mind as well.

So since some of the harper autographs were expired redemptions....how come the box prices don't decrease after the expiration date?

2011 Bowman Chrome Hobby Edition | eBay The Harper autos in Chrome were live. They were redemptions in Draft. I opened 10 cases of 2011 BC and found 3 base Harper autos. Trout Rookies and Harper autos are driving prices. 2011 Value Boxes were also 11.98 at Wal-Mart. I opened over 100. I want to throw up when I think about all of the Trout 2011 Topps Rookies I sold for $1.

I thought this too..........I'm sitting on 3 bowman regular and 4 Bowman jumbo boxes. I was going to have a little box opening party on opening day.... If I pull a redemption that would really suck.

To the best of my knowledge, and memory, no. Those were bonus autos.

2011 Finest was my favorite of the year. Trout autos were plentiful and base cards sold well. Was getting these for under $600 a case, now they are up on eBay for $300 per hobby box.
