Well damn! Thought we were trending towards $100 with LTC. Quite the opposite! Down to $147 and back up to $190.

Hoping that today's bitcoin futures cycle will be end of the dip from all the market manipulation. All the fake news doesn't help

Said it once before and I'll say it a million times again...bitcoin always does around a 50 percent retracement pullback after reaching a new price milestone. Was calling for 9-10k btc right after 20k hit...you can check my posts. One of the easiest shorts ever.

However, I'm still not entirely convinced the bear market is over, and this may be another deadcat bounce off 9k support. Have a feeling this recent mini rally is due in part to the bitcoin conference as well.

Either way, the end goal remains the same: we're going higher.

Can't wait for decentralized exchanges. Hopefully one day. These fees are just freaking outrageous.

Where does one short these things?

I have a fairly small LTC holding along with a poker ICO that drops tomorrow. I have been glued to GDAX watching the LTC action...fun stuff!

Unfortunately btc shorting isn't available to US residents (that I know of). But shorting just about any of the rest of the market when btc peaked at 20k would have yielded you significant profit.

I do all my shorting on poloniex.

Dear God ... the entire crypto market is down 20% in the last 24 hours.

Can you imagine the Dow losing 5,000 points in a single day?

Now is not the time to buy. There’s quite a bit left to go to the bottom so don’t catch the falling knife.

The market was severely overinflated and it’s just evening itself out now. Anybody who thought the explosive growth would continue was too caught up in the hype.

I ended up waiting too long to sell and only ended up 10ish% but I’m going to be on the sidelines for now.

HA. Wait a week for another 10,000,000 coins to be mined across the board; while the market value drops another 50B

In a year, we'll rename this the "1988 Topps" market.

Crypto trading definitely isn't for the faint of heart. Both LTC and BTC have currently risen/held some critical points. Of course LTC is being aided heavily by Litepay and possibly LCC somewhat. I hope to see $10K tomorrow for BTC and LTC around $250.

The BTC/LTC market has been another investment opportunity.

Still long on CSC as well. Their coinswap just concluded today and the next 2-3 months could see some big announcements from the foundation.

Bitcoin is fine for those who can risk the big swings up and down. For everyday it is not and will never be a viable option for everyday life. It is too volatile and the trendy shops that took or still take payment in bitcoin will stop because they could potentially lose thousands a week if the price drops when they go to withdraw for their business or expenses.

Been shorting since 10k btc. Was pretty easy to see the signs of an incoming bear market after that huge bearish divergence on the daily plus falling out of the aescending triangle.

I fully expect us to re-challenge for a double bottom here at around 5800. If that doesn't hold then expect some severe panic sells.

What exchange are you shorting through? Iíve never understood futures enough to drop the minimum buy in into CME/CBOE.

Bittmex for btc. But you'll have to get creative and use a good Canadian vpn.
And that carries some risk (though I've never had issues).

But I do majority of my margin trading on poloniex, which has no area restrictions. But they only allow margin trading alt pairs, not btc. Though that's never been a problem if you identify which alt pairs correlate to BTC the best at a given time.
