This thread, as expected, delivers in quality, quantity, and especially hilarity of banter. I promise I will post a card tomorrow, just can't do it at work haha

Haha for real. I've had this one since about 2000-01, and I also didn't realize it was a sticker until a few years ago. Kinda blew my mind haha

Maybe I double checked the Ultra one when I got this one and noticed it was a sticker? Not real sure which one was first, but I've had the ultra forever. It was my first Marbury auto, so I love that card.

Apparently I'm one of the few who knew they were stickers. Honestly it's not too surprising though. Amazing what happens when the sticker is actually incorporated into the design (and given some design itself) instead of just slapped on somewhere. 90s cards- we even do modern stuff better than modern cards

Regarding the original Fresh Ink cards from the 1999-00 Fleer product line, it might be easier to recognize them being sticker autographs, if you see/encounter something like this.

Not my card, but there are indeed some like this, and not just Marbury.

This is amazing. Iíve never heard of this. Incredible

It feels like fleet made stickers specifically for a given card design. Whereas now stickers are made without thought to a specific brand.

So that means this is also a sticker auto.

Round Mound told me these were intended to look like sticker autos but weren't actually.
