What makes these so collectible? Serious question, very curious.

There are a couple special rare ones, but for the most part, I think they just look cool.

So for the exclusive ones - are they usually released at shows or special events?

Or can these be found at Walmart?

A lot are different ComicCon exclusives, Walmart has 2 exclusives, Hot Topic has a lot as do various other retailers like BAM, Toys R Us and 7-11 to name a few.

The exclusives and retired ones are where the money is. I've been flipping some for a few weeks to find the ones I really want. Everything in these pics is for my PC.

Thanks for the info. Never seen or heard of these, but after doing a little bit of reading and searching on eBay, I've noticed how popular they are.

Pretty cool thing to collect!

I don't collect these, but my sister bought me one because I thought it looked cute. I never knew there were so many neat looking ones. I really want that sharknado one OP Lol.

We've been dealing with Funko since 2011 before Pops! became so popular. We have since purchased numerous SDCC pre-buys and have attended 2 Fundays events. We have accumulated many different Funko items over the years with a lot of rare and expensive ones. We recently sold a Freddy Hikari promo for $641. I recently created a forum where you can talk about and buy, sell and trade Funko stuff if any of you are interested. It's brand new and still looking for members, so every member registration counts: Stufforum The STUFF You Love, All In One Forum! - Funko Stuff

Where do you guys go to find out which ones will be limited and rare? I'd be interested in seeing about finding the ones that are limited..so I'm assuming somewhere out there has release dates and production numbers
