Description was pretty vague..but the initial photo made me want to at least take a look.

"Son moved out of state long ago leaving his baseball card collection. We don't want it. Many unopened boxes of cards. Most dated in the 1990's--some earlier. "

Another photo (unloaded from the lady and now at my house)

from this photo you should be able to see a few key things.'

89 Upper Deck Set (Griffey RC)
1993 UD Series 2 Box Sealed - Jeter RC.

Figured these 2 probably covers about 1/2 of the lot.

It looks like being a kid again. Love to know what you find in the pile of baseballs. Thanks for sharing.

Opened this box first...autographed baseballs.

1995 All Star Game Ball (has finger print staining, but doubt its game used)

Tigers Facsimile Auto'd Coca Cola Ball (thinking 1988)

8 Other autographed Balls

If you've got any suggestions on the autos please feel free to help. I'm in Michigan, and expect these to likely be Michigan based autographs and likely Tigers, but I do have the Lansing Lugnuts (Historcially with Cubs and Toronto) and West Michigan Whitecaps (historically with A's and Tigers I think) within an Hour of here. Circa likely 1980-1990's

Ball # 1: Jason Thompson
Auto # 1: John flaterty?
Auto # 2
Auto # 3: John Hiller

Ball # 2:

Ball # 3 - Chad Curtis

Nice group; should yield some interesting numbered cards from the early years.

A wild guess, but Ball 1 Auto #2 could be David Wells?

Clips I think your right on Wells. I knew I've seen the auto before. Doesn't match the time line on the other two though. But have no clue on the history of these balls

But anyways here's #7 and 8

Ball 7.
Auto ?

Ball 8
Auto 1 Curtis Pride
Auto 2
Auto 3
Auto 4
Auto 5 Newhouser?
Auto 6 Kirk Gibson?

.

It is the property of the son who did not want the card (s).

Seeing all the faded autos makes me realize how important using ROMLB's and keeping them out of direct sunlight really is.....

Aaron - I looked at few online and it matches pretty well. Thanks!

Potentially a few different versions of his autograph, but looking at a few of the 94 Topps he signed its pretty close. So guess maybe on this ball I'll have to look more at the 96 and 97 Rosters.

But yeah a few of these are really faded and may be extremely hard to read. Anyone know if a black-light would help read the auto if the ink or indentation might stand out a little better?

I'll likely bring a few of these (or maybe all) to the Saginaw Show this weekend and maybe a few of the Tigers guys there can help with the identification.

Not worth opening but this looks like this is a 1991 Donruss Holiday Treat Bag Pack. Normal pack has 15 cards, this has 1 puzzle piece card and 3 cards
