That leaves 8 left still. I really hope they get at least 1 new big signer for this product.

James Earl Jones or David Prowse would be nice addition.
Joel Edgerton would be a nice one time signer
Of course Samuel L. Jackson. He did a signing for Celebrity Authentics, so MAYBE there is hope?

Isn’t Prowse on bad terms with Disney since he’s been so open about how he’s the true Vader and what not?

I think James Earl Jones would be likely.

Maybe if they push back they can get Rose or DJ character autos for TLJ?

I’m just patiently waiting for the place near me to presell singles so I can get phasma. Not sure what it’ll run me but whatever it’s a Christmas present lol.

I think the product will be pushed back till after The Last Jedi, and I think we will see a new signer or two from that. This is purely speculation on my part, I have no inside info.

Sure you don’t. Now let the Disney exec out of the basement I promise everything will be ok.

Wait prowse is mad at Disney because they didn’t use him as Vader? Really?

Oh and I’d imagine jej is fine with Disney, that lion king thing has paid him pretty well over the years from what he’s said.

Dangling him off your balcony is not “secure” but I understand your just making sure ford signs. Everyone appreciate your efforts.

Also Prowse officially stated he’s no longer signing or making appearances due to health concerns. (From this tweet https://twitter.com/isdarthvader/sta...16546446110722)

So he’s fit and healthy enough to be Vader but too sick to sign autographs? Logic is for pussies.

Regardless, he's suffering from dementia and is no longer doing public appearances. I think his signing days may be over. You can still order signed stuff on his website, though, but who knows for how much longer?

And I don't think we'll see any new TLJ signers before the movie.

So after looking at recent masterwork sales, which are abysmal, who still thinks these mid-low autos will command a premium and still average to $250ish range?

Tudyk is 100ish or less for his base auto
Yen and Whittaker are around 100 or so
Hayden is at 250ish for his base

Obviously the big 6-10 should be well over $250, but seems like everyone else is dropping due to fatigue and saturation.

That, or collectors are saving money because they already preordered stellar or are saving up for it.

Perhaps people are tired of cash-grab releases that offer nothing new? Hmm..

IMO this year masterwork design is much better than Stellar
For any given signer, I ll take masterwork over stellar

Nope. They can churn out Star Wars stuff from now till rapture. People will buy, breakers will break, unless the set just flat out sucks it’ll make some money. With Disney announcing even more films than expected they’ll have new signers for years to come and even the “rare” autos like daisy will drop as the supply slowly increases as time goes on.

That being said, I don’t think this is a 10k product unless the unannounced signers have some serious tricks up their sleeve. But if you don’t have a Star Wars Auto collection and wanted one, boom instant collection without tracking them all down. To be honest people in the market for a 10k set are either dealers or rich and don’t care about spending 10k. But I doubt we see a set like this again anytime soon.

You know what really would have made this set special, even for low-tier signers? Inscriptions.

I think Matt Wood is the only signer to sneak in an inscription lately (wood on wood), unless you count Anthony Daniels signing C3PO as well as him name.

And in reference to the above comment about starting a collection fast, there's also plenty of auto lots on eBay for lower level signers at under $10 a card.

Stephen Stanton added a "#1" to one of the first cards he signed on a set. I'll bet he's done others.

But yeah, I'm talking about lines from the movies or TV shows. I could see people paying premiums for every signer. Heck, adding "It's a trap!" could make Tim Rose cards worth something (even though it wasn't his voice).
