What's the most you've ever been transferred on one call, my record was 7 when I was a stock inspector in Manhattan, I would've given up after the 3rd transfer but it was a 2 million dollar trade.

Someone please keep me out of the basketball forum.

I'm not sure how but I always seem to forget how bad that place really is...

Just follow my lead, I hate basketball for the most part and see no reason to go into that area on this site.

I used to love basketball until the current form of it came to be.

Now I only watch Celtics games and the Finals.

The Knicks have sucked for so long that it was easy for me to give up basketball. When I lived in New York I followed it and was actually a fan, but I can't remember the last time the Knicks were relevant.

I think it is 6. It can get rather tedious.

I am on my 4th phone number for the same issue though. They keep giving me different numbers to try.

I just got my flu shot. I hope I don't get sick this year.

I haven't gotten mine yet this year, it seems the last 3 times I got the shot I felt like crap for a few weeks so I might not get one this year.

The fun really starts when you get transferred back to the first person you spoke to, I have had that happen a few times.

I feel nauseous every year after I get mine. I don't like getting them but they are required. Does your wife get one?

I only watch the finals now as well. I wish they went all out all season but they don't. It's like watching college basketball for the regular season.

Yes she does, she also gets nauseous after her shot, but I guess in the long run it is better than getting the actual flu.

John Hopkins came out and said the flu shot is not beneficial. I never know how to feel when huge universities come out and say these things. I have already been pumped full of enough chemicals in my life time. It is the whole reason I went with natural births for both my boys.

The only thing that cancelled our games when I was in little league was if there were thunder storms in the area, granted that is going back 45 years but cold weather never was a consideration for cancelling a game.

Though I did find this on their website:

rumor circulating on various social media outlets attributes dubious claims about the influenza vaccine to “a Johns Hopkins scientist.”

"Johns Hopkins Medicine in no way endorses an article published in July 2013 by a former fellow at our school of medicine questioning the validity of the annual flu vaccine. The writer has no scientific affiliation with Johns Hopkins, nor is he employed by any of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone over the age of 6 months get vaccinated for influenza. At Johns Hopkins, we are confident that the benefits of the flu vaccine to individuals and to public health are very strong.

In an effort to protect our patients, Johns Hopkins Medicine mandates that its health care workers receive an annual influenza vaccination, assuming no personal allergies or medical conditions contraindicate it. Our vaccination rate is 97 percent. We encourage patients to discuss flu shots and any other immunizations with their primary care physician."

I am raising the next generation of "cupcakes" School is 3 times as hard now as it was when I was a kid. My 3rd grader is learning things I learned in the 6th or 7t grade. My 1st grader has timed math tests. It doesn't make any sense to make it so cut throat. I want a nice balance of allowing them to be a kid and preparing them for the real world.

If by complain you mean being realistic about the true nature of the world then yes.
