Supposedly 49ers reporting that they fear it is indeed an ACL.

Bummer. Thank goodness I sold the only big Jimmy card I had left back in May.

I still have a few much smaller Jimmys but luckily don’t have much into them so I’ll be okay holding until next season.

Pretty people deserve to get hurt. Karma.

Baker Mayfield is ugly right? I already dealt with pretty boy Brady Quinn...

Damn, tore it basically trying to get meaningless yards. That's rough. Feel for him. Hope he gets better and back to 100%. The sport needs young stars like him.

he didn't exhibit any intelligence there. Apparently he didn't learn his lesson with his injury he had in New England.

SMH, he apparently hasn't watched successful QBs play....they jog out of bounds when the defense is about to kill.em. Worst decision I've seen for meaningless yards.

It's like a right of passage to tear your ACL these days in the NFL.

I'd say so. NFL just needs to give it a fancy name. Jimmy G. surgery?

It wasn't really meaningless they were still in the game at that point. They were down by 14 i believe and they were driving and was on about the 25 or so. They had the momentum in their favor and were winning the 2nd half. Defense was getting after Mahomes. They needed a touchdown on that drive and it would have been a 1 score game. Chiefs should have been up by about 50 if you watched how bad the 1st half of the game was for the 49ers defense. Garoppolo actually played really well and composed. Kept them in the game.

As an Eagles fan, it reminded me of Wentz diving into the end zone last year when he could have been riding the bench into playoffs. Not as bad. But still bad.

Why? I know a lot of people on here act like he is the second coming of Brady but there are a lot of great QB’s in the NFL worth watching. I’ve never been much for watching the 49ers though so maybe I’m missing something

That extra half a yard(if that) isn't doing much for them the rest of the season. He definitely showed a lack of intelligence there. There were a large number of Chiefs players coming at him and instead of taking the only way out of a violent impact, he cut(which tore his ACL). If I'm going to guess, he tried to run over the defensive back.....whoops.

If you don't think a young stud QB leading a up-and-coming team in one of the largest markets in the league being gone for the year is bad for the NFL overall, I dunno what to tell you.

Big picture.
