I sent in 16 #57 Sean Manaea to PSA and they all came back as a cut card, "Minimum size" as they say.

Any other graders have this happen?

I see by the POP report there are very few graded. This might explain it.

I wonder if Bryan Anderson is the same? Very few graded of him also.

That might explain why the Brian Anderson PSA 10s are selling for so high.

Topps fixed the runs but the fielding avg/% is still wrong for past year. Should be .997 not .977.

Chasing SP cards that happen to be commons is nothing new in collecting and living or now are no exception. I remember building 65 and 73 sets where commons 8’s would fetch $60-$125. If this set has staying power, these lower PR regardless of the many 10’s out there, could fetch good money. Cards graded in 8’s and 9’s will be desirable and maybe the only thing affordable. I’m starting to pick up some of the lower PR in 9’s and put them away.

I noticed the BST thread got stickied.... maybe we should do 2018 Now and Living Set too. And let everything else get bumped when needed.

There’s an ebay listing for cards 1-69 that starts at $0.99 but has $999 shipping cost. Always have to be wary.

So it seems last week's cards are doing great on the Secondary Market (looks like over $40 for the cards individually)- I assume this is PR related?

Got my 20 Robles today and my first look has me thinking 20 10s.
Clean black bottom borders and all nicely centered.

Update: A closer look and I’ll be sending in 19 of the 20. One with an odd print mark.

I also believe there are a ton of these back-logged in grading right now. As minimum grades aren't met, more raw examples will surface, and prices will stay low, and in some cases, go lower.

A graded set will be where it's at, in my opinion. And too, that will be plentiful.
Well, unless PSA releases its stranglehold on the number of PSA 10s they hand out for the key SSPs, the total number of top grade sets is limited to 34. However plentiful some of the cards are in PSA 10, these low pop high grade cards will keep the set value pretty healthy.

As the value of PSA 10s of the early low SP players rises, that will encourage more people to submit for grading. Minimum PR is at least 2k cards - how many of those have been graded so far? A very small percentage, right?
