Default March PSA submission - autograph special!

March PSA group submission

I am taking orders for a PSA group submission. I would like to have the participants signed up with a list of everyone’s cards by March 16th and all items need to be received by March 26th so I have time to fill out the submission forms, package everything up and get it out before the end of the month. If I do not have your items in time to fill and pack everything out they will be returned to you at your cost.

Autograph Grading & Encapsulation Special
Any single-signed item with a declared value of $150* or less is now only $15. You get the autograph authenticated, graded and encapsulated in PSA's tamper-evident case for only $15. Please note: this is for the autograph only (Blue Flip); trading cards submitted for this special will not be authenticated or graded.

Your order must be postmarked between March 1 and March 31, 2013, so act now!

Turnaround time varies with demand.

This special is valid for items that fit in standard PSA holders only (i.e. cuts, cards, tickets, checks, small photos, etc.). 8x10 photo encapsulation is not included. Eligible holder sizes are as follows:

•Regular 2 11/16" x 3 13/16"
•Tall Boy 3 1/2" x 5 1/8"
•Supersized 3 5/8" x 7 1/2"
•Supersized 4 1/4" x 10"
•Supersized 5 3/4" x 8"
*Declared values are subject to change and customer notification before processing the order.

Declared value is mainly determined by price guide or realized auction prices. Do not base your value on what it might be worth after grading. Don't put a cheap value on your item just to get it in. i.e. send in a Babe Ruth cut and put $150 value. You will be charged appropriately by PSA and me!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is only the price for authenticating and grading the autograph. It does not include any shipping or paypal charges

Shipping charges vary based on the number of items submitted and the total value of the items. Once I have a full list of what is submitted I will let everyone know what the shipping charges will be to and from PSA. You should figure $3 an item. This is just an estimate.

When the items come back to me, and they will most likely come back to me at different times, I will PM the owners of the cards. If you still have more items at PSA that did not come back yet you will have the option of waiting for your additional items or having them sent as they are received. This will obviously mean additional shipping charges.

Charges:

First payment: This will cover the cost of authenticating and grading your items, shipping to and from PSA and any paypal charges.

Second payment: This will cover the cost of shipping the cards back to you. Because of the size of most items they will be sent Priority mail. Insurance is recommended. This covers me AND you. I use paypal shipping so Delivery Confirmation is always included.

First payment will not be required until after the submission is closed on March 16th. As stated above cards and payment must be received no later than March 26th.

Once the sign-up deadline passes (March 16th) and I have a list off all items to be submitted I will contact all participants with their first payment total. I need a response agreeing to the charge and I will then send you an invoice for that amount. Again, you have until March 26th to make the payment and to get me the cards.

Additional information:

I can only accept one of any specific item. This shouldn't be an issue for autographs but need to keep this in here just in case.

Make sure to PM me and post a list of items you are submitting. That way there are two different paper trails of what you are sending me. I will be recording all packages I open on ustream (my channel is ifish73) to verify what you sent matches your list.

I am not responsible for your items until they get to me so make sure you pack them properly. Again all packages I receive will be recorded on ustream.

PSA wants cards sent to them in soft sleeves and semi-rigid card holders. Most people do not have these holders. If you want me to transfer your cards into a semi-rigid I can do that. They will cost around $0.25 each. Let me know if you want me to put your cards in semi-rigid holders when you send me your list. I really prefer not to do this. The less I handle your cards, the better!

You can submit as many items as you want. There is no limit for this submission.

Any questions feel free to post or PM. Thanks

UPDATE

I am adding an additional service for this month. A member on here really wants to get a card re-slabbed but with one card it isn't really worth it so if anyone else out there has a PSA graded card that is maybe all scratched up or chipped and needs a new case that can be submitted as well.

REHOLDER (Re-encapsulation of PSA-graded card.)
Standard size/tallboy $5
Oversized holder (Over 3-1/2 x 5-1/8") $10

Would like to get at least 5 cards for this to even out the shipping.

Can I assume that non-sport auto's are acceptable for submission provided that they fit sizing, value, etc. criteria? If so, I'm interested in participating. Thanks for hosting.

Thats the way I interpret it. The description says any single signed item, it never specifies sports

They will accept any subject matter for this special. Occasionally they will do a 1/2 price special for regular authentication, those will usually have a sport specified in the Special name.

Thanks for clearing this up. I'll plan on a few and get a definitive list within a week or so.

Welcome to the boards.

As long as you meet the deadlines and pay your invoices you can submit. Everyone needs to start somewhere!

I have a few index cards I wouldn't mind submitting, would this be an option? And is the 3. 1/2 x 7 1/8 be the appropriate slab for the 3 x 5 cards? Thanks

3.5s go into Tall boy slabs.
3. 1/2 x 5 1/8

I assume your question was typo.

I believe the largest item that can go into one of the holders they listed is around a 5x7 so you are fine with the index cards.

I have 2 (two) cards to submit. One is an Boris Artist Prism card of a Buck Rogers Poster that was concept art and never released. It is signed by Erin Grey.

The second card is from the Buck Rogers set released in the 80's #13 from the set. Also signed by Erin Grey.
Both Cards are worth less than $75 combined.

I have Soccer with my son today so I will be gone for a good portion. I will go over everything tonight and tomorrow and have invoices out.

BTW when did Soccer become a year-round sport? Way too cold!

List is updated with all participants. Going to give a little leeway here and if you still want to join in you have until 3:00 p.m. eastern time. My son has another Soccer game today so I won't get to figuring the totals until I get back from the game.

Moving to active.

When sending an Online Payment to the host, protect yourself by sending as goods (not gift). If a payment is sent as a "gift", you eliminate your chance of filing a claim or chargeback should the need arise. If possible, fund the payment with a credit card to be fully protected.
