Would it be a bad idea to get it graded because of that? I'm new to grading so not really sure. Everything else looks good on it.

I would not use an exacto knife. I don't know if you are subbing to BGS or PSA, but I have gently pulled them off and gotten 10's from PSA. Even if you left them on, I think you could still get a high grade. PSA does not seem to deduct a lot for rough cuts on cards. I would definitely grade it if you think it even has a chance at a 10. Congrats on some great pulls and good luck with your sub.

Use the clothe made for cleaning reading glasses and very gently rub the edge staying away from the corners. It's my trick bgs and it works

I've used a microfiber cloth and gently 'pulled' the strands off. Didn't seem to bother the card at all and made it look better.
