Is mcavoy on the table at the trade deadline at all? What would it take for Sweeney to not hang up the phone if a GM inquired about mcavoy?

LOL

That pretty much sums it up, McAvoy should retire a Boston Bruins and will rank right there with great B's defenseman of the past when all is said and done

Bruins 2014 Draft Pick and current Harvard player Ryan Donato was the star for Team USA last night at the PyeongChang Olympics.

Donato the son of former Bruin and current Harvard Coach Ted, scored both the USA goals in a 2-1 victory over Slovakia.

Feels like the B's have not played for over a week, Western Canadian swing begins this evening in Vancouver.

Bruins have recalled Jordan Szwarz from Providence to give them an additional forward for this trip.

This 5 game trip will finish one day prior to the trade deadline (Feb. 26th), will be interesting to see if the Bruins add to their roster before returning home.

Bruins were due for one of these games, it seemed like everything the Canucks put on goal ended up in the net last night.

1st period was perhaps the worst 20 min. for this club this season.

Will be interesting to see how this team responds in Calgary tomorrow night after playing such a lackluster game in Vancouver, Loui Eriksson came back to haunt his former team, LOL

David Backes pretty much summed up last night with this quote:

"I don't know if we were looking at the standings and thinking we had an easy night. … It was moments of brilliance and moments of 'who is this team out there, what are we doing' type of plays." -- Bruins forward David Backes

Nice bounce back win today in Calgary, B’s with a much better effort than Sat. night in Vancouver.

Tuukka returned to form and Marchand delivered in OT, road trip continues as the B’s head to Edmonton tomorrow night.

I see another move coming. Trade doesn't make sense otherwise

O’Gara was not in the Bruins future plans, Holden is an unrestricted FA, Rangers looking to move players B’s looking for depth both teams accomplish what they wanted to IMO.

Holden can play both left and right D, so he will be well received for the stretch run.

Bruins now with 11 defenseman do have leverage to make another move for a veteran player like McDonough who has been discussed.
