Default Not really news, but pwcc_auctions is Shilling the hell out of these auctions

Like I said, this isn't an Earth-shattering development. Just thought people might want to see it or be reminded about the general scumbaggery that these guys exude.

Don't the consign though? It could be people they're selling for

It could be that the same guy owns both cards and is driving up the price on both. There should be some safeguard in place to prevent this.

You'd think they would want to stop this to keep their integrity

Honestly though what can they do to stop that from happening? The only real way would be to stop taking consignments. Anyone can have as many IDs on Ebay as you have email addresses, so there is no practical way for them to monitor that.

Sad but true. If anyone is after one of those 2 cards though, might want to find another auction.

and they LOVE it, they can take that and say "look how much MORE a card sells for when you consign it with us!"

I wish PWCC would have shilled my items when I sent them to be sold. I got decent prices for all my cards except for the most expensive one. Lost 200-300 dollars for sending it to them. They must have given their shill team that week off.

You have to do it yourself.

Ah, well based on the title of this thread and similar others, seems many people are accusing PWCC and Probstein of shilling their auctions.

More than likely its the consignors doing it to their own items. There is really no practical way outside of not doing consignments to stop it from happening.

They actively encourage people to bid on their own items, we're way past accusation, this is common knowledge.

How do they "actively encourage" people to bid on their own items? Saying it is common knowledge is not evidence. I'd like to see your proof.

Just for fun, type PWCC in google and it wants to auto-fill "Shill"

Hearing it second hand from your brother in law's third cousin IS proof!
