What’s buzz-worthy: Bowman’s Best is back once again with a mini-box format that delivers two autographs in six packs with this year’s top veterans, rookies, prospects and draft picks potentially found inside — oh, and there are Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger cards, too.

The Basics: This year’s release promises “more Atomic Refractors than ever

before” with new Monochrome autos landing one per case and two Baseball America 2017 Dean’s List Atomic Refractors per case, too. Also two per case? The 1997 Best Cuts Atomic Refractors. And one per case? Mirror Image Atomic Refractors. … The size of the base set was not revealed but each base card will have standard Refractors along with Atomic (one per master box), Purple (/TBD on all not noted going forward), Blue, Green, Gold, Orange (/25), Red (/10) and 1/1 Superfractors. … Inserts will include Dean’s List, Best Cuts, Raking Rookies and Mirror Image. Each will have autograph version along with Atomic, Gold (/TBD) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels. … On the autograph front there also will be Best of 2017 Autos with top players having Refractor, Green (/TBD), Gold (/TBD), Atomic (/25), Red (/10) and 1/1 Superfractor parallels. There also will be dual autos with Atomic (/10) and Superfractor versions. … The Monochrome autos will have a standard version (/TBD) along with Atomic (/25) and 1/1 Supers.
