I have a small port if you are interested. I'd say 95% of it is worth over $1. Lots of $2-$10 items, a few $10-$20 items.

LMK.

All you need to do is find a ship load of Chrome Teixeira's to add to the site and you will be number 1 in no time! A couple hundred '77 Bobby Murcer cards and you will be set.

Hope you were able to catch the game, quite a show they put on. I am going to make a point of going to the BB game when they have a memorial for the plane crash victims, that will be a very intense night/day.

Quick update

I continue to submit, scour for deals and buy ports

I have 35,700 items (more than doubled since Feb)

I have slowed my pace to focus more on unique low population items so I don't have to think about under cutters as much

I have also submitted quite a bit to grade on COMC, especially vintage. If I buy anything 1975 or before I send it straight to BVG

My guess is May 2017 I get to 100,000. Could be sooner

As of this moment... I don't think this quest makes any sense for me moving forward

COMC is not a well run company in my opinion, and continuing to invest in their future when their own leadership will not makes no sense

I have 2,500 more cards to send which will get me just shy of 40,000

Once that processes I think I'll be in sell mode unless I'm given ANY reason to change course

It's been fun trying, but I wouldn't invest this much in a stock run by people I deemed incompetent, so I can no longer invest in cards in the same situation

If anyone wants to make offers on specific chunks of my port please PM me

My port is in my opinion about as strong as possible for a 33-35k card port

Good luck everyone

I would not be too concerned yet with the current sales. There has always been a slow down during this period as everyone is waiting to hear the BF details. Hopefully they will have the preview sales again and things will pick up for the next two months.

So in four months youve done roughly 11k in sales. 100k cards costs roughly 25k to list. However once the cards are up you have a working asset. If you think you can survive a down spell or have good sales sounds like a good idea. However unless I missed something not sure where youre cards are coming from and how much they cost you to acquire. Good luck with it though

Another thing i noticed is that you had 28k cards in aug. Now your port says 19k is that correct or are some of your cards not showing up in your port? Ive heard of that happening before with the site

I saw a drop off starting about a week ago, people tend to hoard funds as we approach Black Friday. Would be nice to see some information from COMC.

It may not be counting multiples. They only show up when you click on the individual cards in the port and are not counted on the left side.

Spoke to Norbert for about 20 minutes today and I'm off the ledge for now

Not sure on how it's counting but I have 35,000 in Washington at their facility and 3,000 heading out Monday.

OK, I am refocused

3,000 cards heading to Washington tomorrow

34,644 cards currently for Sale

Decent balance for Black Friday

I think I could get to 40,000 by the end of 2015

Biggest road block to 100,000 now is that I am not as focused on quantity as I am quality. Just too hard to keep lowest pricing on high production items

Will be focusing heavily on /100 or less items in 2016, which could grind this progress to a halt even as my sales increase

Still not a huge high end market on COMC, I think they need to address cash out fee's and incentivize folks to keep better items in Washington

Currently have a batch processing and it's the fastest they've ever uploaded one of my basic submissions. 1,636 of 2,200 processed over a month ahead of schedule. At this rate I may send my next submission sooner than anticipated

That being said they misidentified about 8 cards and I made 1 pretty significant pricing error

Anyway, over 37,000 items now. I am working very hard to have the absolute best COMC store on their site with fair pricing on popular players and decent sales.

Go take a look, some really nice items!

I have sent in 1k-2k batches montly for about the last three or four months and they really ramped things up for the big Holiday Weekend - and it really paid off for me as well as the sales were great.

I am staying positive and continue to send in cards but I have been on a similar plan as you and have gotten a little bit more descriminatory about what I am sending in.

Good luck in your quest - I am hoping for my own growth as well but the first marker I have is $25k in asking price (while still pricing competitively).

My goal for today was to get to 40,000 cards but I failed due to lack of available deals.

39,500 as I wrap up my day means that I will have 40,000 by the end of 2015.

60,000 by the end of 2016
90,000 by the end of 2017
crack 100,000 on 2018 and then the purge can begin

Focusing on quality above quantity and trying very hard to stay lowest whoever I can. Impossible to maintain a 40,000 card port by the way. Anyone who pretends they can has no full time job haha

Have not been able to maintain inventory of 40,000

My total ask, and in my opinion the quality of my offerings as well as pricing has improved which has led to record sales

I am honestly not sure I can get to 100,000 cards for sale. Price maintenance, inventory integrity and the fact that I don't bust wax are all working against me

Have a 700 card port listed. Willing to go much lower than the ask price. Let me know if you're interested.

Send me a price, BUT I have been focused on adding serial numbered auto's lately.

I need great deals to consider buying ports at this point

Bought a 1,600 card baseball port last night that will be priced to MOVE later today

Just added some very nice (slightly overpriced) high end items to draw eyes to my port haha

Also, since I use my port as a trade bucket I may as well have more of my good stuff in Washington
