Default PSA/DNA authentication+encapsulation special for November

Just saw on the PSA/DNA website this special for November:

PSA/DNA Autograph Encapsulation Special

Any item with a regular authentication fee of $49 or less, and a declared valued of under $250 will be authenticated and encapsulated in a PSA/DNA holder for only $15.

Any item with a regular authentication fee of $50-100, and a declared valued of under $500 will be authenticated and encapsulated in a PSA/DNA holder for only $35.

The flat signed item must fit in one of PSA's standard sized holders:
Standard - 2 11/16" x 3 13/16"
Tall Boy - 3 1/2" x 5 1/ 6"
Supersized (Ticket) - 3 5/8" x 7 1/2"
Supersized (Check) - 4 1/4" x 10"
T-3 Holder - 5 3/4" x 8"

While the first special is normally offered around this time of year, I'm not sure I've seen the second special ever offered. Also, PSA normally says this special is for single-signed items, but that is not specified here... so I think that means it will work for multi-signed items.

I did note that after Carrie Fisher's passing, the fee to authenticate her autograph has been raised from $20-30 to $50. So now you would have to choose the $35 special for her, and other high value actors like Harrison Ford. But most other actors fall below $50 (Hamill is $30, Tom Hanks is $30, Sarah Michelle Gellar is $30 for example). So those could be submitted under the $15 special.

No, no memberships for PSA/DNA.

So they will encapsulate and authenticate that the autograph items are legit for that price?

Sounds like a great deal.

I've sent in before on this deal with some satisfaction.
Now to decide what gets sent again.
Help me decide:
[Some of these are 20+ years old, so not recent successes.]

(#1.) Are the end result worth the fees?
(#2.) Are any of these TTM signers are actually Secretarials?

-- Christina Hendricks (plain sig on an index card)
-- Zoe Saldana (inscribed to me on an index card)
-- Evangeline Lilly (inscribed to me on an index card)
-- Demi Moore (inscribed to me on a scrap of paper when i met her)
-- Frank Oz (inscribed to me on a trading card of Yoda)
-- Elton John (this is the one i'm worried might be Secretarial)

If I want to pay for the $35 tier i have:
-- George W Bush (on a book nameplate)
-- Ringo Starr (in a small photograph)

Ringo for sure. The rest unless you just want them encapsulated or authenticated, you aren't going to gain any value on. Bush would be an alright one too

Question #1;
I have $2 autos in slabs, because I like them, or they fill a set/cast that is slabbed.
If you want to know if it its real, you'd have to do it. This is best deal you will probably get.

Share a scan of the Oz.
He sent out Secretarials and real stuff over the years. They can be differentiated easily.

Does the deal work with multiple autographs as well? I have a cut that has Harpo and Chico Marx on it that I really want to get authenticated

Is the Evangeline Lilly TTM from the Lost set? I sent in one to PSA/DNA not too long ago and that came back as not authentic. I still think it's legit as it matches the auto on the Lost Inkworks cards but whatever...

Find the pricing page on the website calculate the multi signature price (it’s not simple math). If it’s $100 or less, then yes. They would specifically state single signed only if it mattered.

For multiples, you enter in the primary person, then the total # of signatures.

Ah okay, so if say I put in Harpo as the primary where his authentication is usually $75 the special would be $35 and PSA/DNA would authenticate both signatures?

No, they charge a little upcharge for the multiples. On the price page there are two entry areas, one for single autographs and one for multiples. I'll post a screenshot when I get home

No, you're halfway there. Since the primary (either in this case) is $75, a second signature makes it $100 regular fee. Go check Chart A on this page; https://www.psacard.com/Fees/Autographs/

Would that still fit under the guidelines of the special since its total would be $100 for authentication?

"Any item with a regular authentication fee of $50-100, and a declared valued of under $500 will be authenticated and encapsulated in a PSA/DNA holder for only $35."

Yes. Assuming the actual value can feasibily be considered to be $499.

It might not work if those are $1k autos.

Any idea if they are offering special on bigger flat items. I have a few signed albums and 8x10s I need authenticated.

Does anybody know if they have a 4x5 holder, or something good sized right for a Rittenhouse ap sketch?

The T-3 Holder - 5 3/4" x 8" should be big enough, right?

The sizes are clearly listed in the OP.
