Case is finally here today. I haven't seen a green Wolverine pulled that much... here's hoping.
I know there have at least been 4 Spideys pulled.

I just opened an absolute crap case of retro.
Get this. Only 3 PMGs total. No green, No blues, 3 reds. Also only 9 sketch cards as well. No jambalaya either. There must be a loaded case out there somewhere with about 20 PMGs

You win some, you lose some. Let me know if you put up scans of the sketches. Would like to check them out.

Why are people selling PMG reds so low???
I just sold a Spidey for more than $60 but people are listing them for less than $30 BIN. |

Only Sabertooth and Domino left for $25. All others were bought up.

You also have to remember that Spideys are always going to sell higher due to character collectors that aren't going to bother trying to put together the entire set.

As a seller, I disliked auctions in general, but I'd make an exception for these PMGs--even the reds. It's as good as setting a reserve because you've got a group of people who will keep the price fairly high.

I'm surprised by how well this has sold as i don't understand the appeal of this set. Was it just because of under ordering by resellers that caused prices to skyrocket?

This set brought in people who were not normally collectors of current Marvel releases. It was able to bring in collectors who once collected Marvel cards as a kid, and now collect Sports Cards - so it was a perfect blend for them. Cross sport card inserts into a non-sport card. At the same time, some of the non-sport purist - just hate this set. To me it's just like people who own vintage cars. Some want everything OEM/NOS, while other like to update the care and add newer technology to it. Either way, I think it was great for the hobby. It was able to bring new blood into the hobby. They might stay around, or they may not.
