2011 Topps American Pie Zimmern shipped!!??

I randomly decided to check on all my redemptions this afternoon and saw that my 2011 American Pie Andrew Zimmern auto/relic shows SHIPPED!

Holy cow - I put in for that a year and a half ago lol!

I have no idea when it was changed to shipped status, so hopefully it shows up in the next week or so! I"ll post a scan when it does - are you guys waiting on any american pie stuff to ship?

I would not get to excited. I got my American Pie Autograph Relic of Andrew Zimmern today. It was a replacement card of Gary Carter (Baseball) auto and the letter that basically states we could not fulfill you redemption (Andrew Zimmern) so he is a replacement card.

I had a Shanna Moakler redemption for an auto/relic that I requested a replacement for a few months back after getting tired of waiting. I asked if they could send me something WWE related, and they did. I got a Maryse auto from the 2010 platinum set. Definitely better than a Shanna Moakler auto, IMO. The redemptions for American Pie were a mess. I don't think I've heard of a single person getting what they were supposed to. I'd be super pissed if I had the Hendrix relics that never got fulfilled.

That's what I am worried about. The Michaels was doing $40.00 when I got mine. Unless you got a Carter auto from a high end/low serial#, you took a loss.

I purchased two of the Hendrix for my sons 21st birthday present Jan 1 2012. Paid over $200 each never got anything. And Topps refuses to respond to what must be up over 100 emails. Topps will never get any of my money. EVER AGAIN..

yah the Hendrix must be one of the biggest fails ever.. when they first hit ebay they were going for around 400.00, i feel sorry for those buyers, hopefully Topps can pull through one day.

These companies are terrible for even making redemptions for cards they aren't guaranteed to make... if you don't have the autos/materials in hand, DON'T make redemptions for them.

they sent me a Dwight Gooden auto #/99 as a replacement for an autographed Jamie Foxx relic card. Now that is sad. I'd rather have had a Gary Carter.

What's stupid is that they actually had the regular non-relic version in packs. Why couldn't they have sent me one of those instead?

Got my redemption the other day. Also a Gary Carter auto /99 to make up for the Bret Michaels auto relic. I'm really pissed. I'm waiting on a Chris Reeve quarter and I'll be extremely pissed if they screw me on that one. I don't get it. Topps is supposed to be trading card royalty - the best of the best. Clearly, they're nothing more than a bunch of scam artists. You're not supposed to issue a redemption unless you have the card in hand, or you're damn sure you're gonna get it.

Well I got the Gary Carter too. Totally bummed out. I even tweeted Zimmern if he had signed but no response. I like baseball and Carter isn't bad, just like you guys I was stoked at the Zimmern auto relic. I enjoy his show a lot and looked forward to it.

I got a frickin Don Sutton auto #/199. Topps is so retarded. They actually think these replacements are of equal value to a Bret Michaels auto??? I will be calling them on my next day off. I will no longer be buying Topps if this is the way they do business. I stopped buying UD products over 6 years ago and haven't bought a single one of their products since. Topps doesn't seem to get they are pissing off those who support them.

Mine came today. I got a don sutton too in place of bret michaels auto. Last week, i got a gary carter in place of the michaels auto relic. It's all a scam. What makes it seem really like a scam is that the letter saying what you were supposed to get has a PA address, the letter of apology has a NY address, and it's postmarked from a NJ address. Every facet of this supposedly great company is screwing us over.
