people just need to understand its not regulated so all companies can do what they want, I think bgs and psa work together, bgs doesn't sell for that much espically with vintage, they give away to many 9.5s, rcr is easier to get good grades on, psa on the other hand charges you for the value of the card

These awesome, trustworthy companies would never, ever miss a centering grade would they? I mean all you have to do is look at the card to see if its centered or not, right?

I completely agree and see it all the time!

Shows you how inconsistent and unreliable grading really is.

Not to mention, you can submit a card today and it could get an 8.

You could crack it out and resubmit it next week and it will get a 9.5...ridiculous.

Grading is for people who are insecure and have no faith in their own judgment.

I can understand people using it for protection purposes, but I don't need another person to tell me what condition my card is in.

I have two eyes, I can see for myself. Let alone pay someone to do it. That's weak.

Exactly. Even the protection angle seems to be an excuse for the junkies who get some kind of weird thrill from grades popping. My cards have survived plenty of moves being in a penny sleeve and toploader. I'm not disputing that slabs do indeed provide more protection, but how are you handling your cards if you use this as the main reason for grading, lol.

I don't get what you're trying to prove...well at least in regards to BGS. None of the cards pictured received a 10 on the centering.
