Default 1991 or 1992 Stadium Club Dome/Skydome- which year?

Looking for a bit of info on this set, particularly if there is an generally accepted year for this release- 1991 or 1992.

Here's the information from BaseballCardPedia, which lists the set as being from 1992-

Quote:
The 1992 Stadium Club Dome set (officially referred to by Topps as the "1991 Special Stadium Set") is a 200-card, Hobby-exclusive, set...Although the design mimics the 1991 Stadium Club set and both the printing on the outside of the box and the copyright date on the cards say "1991," the set was released in March 1992, a full month after the release of 1992 Stadium Club Series One.
But, COMC has them listed as being from 1991. It does follow the same pattern as the 1991 Stadium Club set, but different resources have them as 1991 or 1992, just depends on what you look at.

Anyone know if there is a generally accepted opinion as to what year this set is labeled with?

Where does the '93 come from? I haven't seen '93 on any of them, just '91 or '92

Ah, isn't that a separate release from the Dome one though?

Dome without Jeter

Murphy with Jeter

The Skydome one seems to be accepted as either 1991 or 1992. It's an extension of the 1991 set, but it came out so late a lot of people call it 1992. The special packaging of the dome sets supposedly caused delays. IIRC, it was supposed to be released in December 1991 but eventually turned into March 1992.

But that goes back to that era when the card makers were extending the "card year" further than ever, sort of necessary with the flood of products from that time. People became really hung up on calendar years for a while. For instance, Score took the angle of being the first to market each year, so they came out with 1993 Select in November, 1992. A lot of people grumbled about that, but eventually it became a non-issue for cards for a given season to come out way before and way after that season began or ended. It continues to this day in various ways. Some people complained that Ohtani's Heritage card had the RC logo even though he hadn't played in the majors yet.

I lost my rear on the Dome Set. 125 rookies and only one was even decent, Giambi. The entire set flopped bad. Cost I believe in the high $30s or low $40s and was supposed to retail for $60ish. I sold a few of the 20 I bought but died with the rest.

Now the cards are all bricked together which makes it worse!
