Chrome.
Oncard autos.
No goofy rookie pictures.

We always get so close to having nice things. Why does the unlicensed stuff put more effort into their products than the licensed stuff?

Chrom-ish but not the same. I have only one leaf card and it looks awful. Hope to sell it or burn it. Don't want any of these in my collection. Must of been drunk ebaying or something when I got it.

On card autos are nice and should be for all products in my opinion.

Unlicensed stuff should just go away.

I agree. This one doesn't bother me too much though. At least you could make out his name. The worst full name i've seen still has to be Dee Milliner. That was a bad one(from people who actually took the time to spell out their entire name)

Obviously we'd like Quincy Enunwa or Kirk Cousins-level signatures, but I'll take Milliner's effort over the checkmark sigs some players leave us with.

I'm always down for 2-3 boxes of Leaf Metal Draft. I shrug off the unlicensed thing, just like I shrug off a small amount of unlicensed Panini baseball products. Not all products are designed as nicely as Leaf Metal Draft football is. Consistently one of my favorite products each year.

That said, some of these "autos" are truly cringe worthy. Do they not teach penmanship in school anymore?

What's penmanship? We all use computers now. What's a computer?

The Jets have some nice ones in my opinion.

Quincy Enenuwa
Curtis martin
Don Maynard
Joe Namath

Quincy's is probably one of my all time favorites.

I'd throw Tiki Barber in there as well, always liked his Auto

I also once pulled a Forrest Gregg Auto and always thought his was really nice too

Anyone ever practice your signature when you're bored or intentionally change it?

I actually changed mine up a few years ago. It now has a certain element of flair to it.

I wont leave you hanging. I did this all through Grade and High School. Just in case I went pro. Better safe than sorry, right?

25ish years later, my signature still pretty much looks the same.

I'm always a sucker for this set. Usually get one really nice hit out of it that I always say "I should have held onto this until after the draft" I got a Prescott /5 in 2016.

I'm excited as well. Fits really well into the college team collector market for potential resale and you usually hit at least 1 really nice card a box.
