It will be interesting to see how The Land of The Giants does as it was only a test issue set when released

Print run of 1043 on the 1953 Baseball. Looks like a few people had the same idea lol

It will make a nice first card for the Topps Living Set, it will be in demand for all of those putting together the set.

I agree. It will make a nice centerpiece in any Living collection. I was just hoping (for selfish reasons) that less people would think of that haha.

If it wasn't mentioned in the Living thread, the print run would have been at least half of what it was :-) Still, only 1000 Sets will be able to have these as a part of it. Those are good numbers.

I missed it being mentioned in the Living thread. I just read it and I’m sure that did add a lot to the print run. The previously offered baseball wrapper cards in this set only printed in the 200’s or 300’s. Still pretty limited considering there are probably 200 or so putting the wrapper set together leaving only around 800 for Living collectors.

Huh? The card looks pretty cool, but isn't part of the Living Set.

I'll be keeping one of my 11 as the cover card for my own complete (so far) Living Set, but I'll have 10 of them left over for other Living collectors. I don't think I'll sell them, though. Instead, I'm going to offer them in trade for various 80th anniversary cards I missed.

Doesn’t matter if it’s part of the set or not, just look at the print run. Why else would a 1953 wrapper art card print more than 300?

King Kong and Cyndi Lauper and to a lesser degree: E.T, Three's Company, The Beatles, and Batman, maybe one or two more.

Also have Simpsons and GPK to trade, as well a possibly a couple more, but I have to check for which ones. Thanks!

With the 1953 plus the Kennedy, maybe the best week yet. And I forgot to order...

Another batch of sharp looking cards this week. "The Waltons" is another that was only a test set originally. I wonder when the rest of the big ones, non-sports-wise, are coming: Star Wars, Wacky Packs, and Mars Attacks. All would have healthy print runs, I think.

Got my extra 10 of the 1953 Baseball wrapper card, and though they were the most poorly packed of the many 80th Anniversary and Living Set cards I've ordered over the past few months, they were all in gorgeous condition. Anyone who wants one in trade, let me know what you've got from the 80th set in exchange...
