When I bust a box, I put everything for sell, even some of the commons in lots. You would be surprise on how much you can make back on the small cards.

the key I have figured out is busting brand new product and selling it right away. People always overpay when something just comes out. They'll buy anything from the product, base, inserts, autos, GU, RC etc

That is exactly what I do. But do not bust much these days. Probably going to wait for Topps Chrome 2012. That will be easy to sell.

exactly what I'm waiting for. I'll bust some wax every now and then, but only single packs, not boxes. Chrome is probably one of the easiest to make money back on with all the refractors and 1 per box autos.

I've pretty much stuck to singles lately as it's the guaranteed way to get what you want. I bought an RG3 Prestige Passport Auto for $82, can't even get the whole box for that much. I would have been thrilled to get thet RG3 if I opened a box

fellas, we discussed the draft order situation back on page 6 or 7. i said what i thought we should do at that time and i thought everyone was on board with that since nobody mentioned it again.

my reasoning is that a good fantasy footballer should be prepared to draft from any position. do mocks from every position multiple times. not knowing adds to the suspense and makes things even more hectic in the hour before the draft. trading should be hot and heavy.

I vote yes as well.

one more mock, this from the #2 spot. I know I drafted Rice high, but for PPR he is a beast

1. Ray Rice (Bal - RB)
2. Roddy White (Atl - WR)
3. Brandon Marshall (Chi - WR)
4. Vernon Davis (SF - TE)
5. Tony Romo (Dal - QB)
6. BenJarvus Green-Ellis (Cin - RB)
7. Pierre Garcon (Was - WR)
8. Jonathan Stewart (Car - RB)
9. James Starks (GB - RB)
10. Anquan Boldin (Bal - WR)
11. Mike Williams (TB - WR)
12. Joe Flacco (Bal - QB)
13. Jared Cook (Ten - TE)
14. Seattle (Sea - DEF)
15. Rob Bironas (Ten - K)

have some great depth, so injuries won't hurt too bad

U know me, always on board with the majority rules thing, and not to get all commissionery on you, but we discussed everything regarding the rules and format a while ago for a reason. I'm not a fan on changing things because someone is bored, lol. Imo, knowing ur draft spot more than a month in advance is awfully beginnerish. Thought this was an expert league....

Probably the best draft I've seen you do to be honest. I see good players at every position. What are we voting YES to? I'm confused.

Here is mine, drafted from the 5th spot:

QB: Phillip Rivers, Robert Griffin
RB: Ryan Mathews, Ahmad Bradshaw, Shonn Greene, Robert Turbin
WR: Andre Johnson, Demaryius Thomas, Santonio Holmes, Darrius Heyward-Bey
TE: Fred Davis, Jared Cook
K: Randy Bullock
Defense: Detroit & New England Defense

Here is the picks in order:

1 - Ryan Mathews
2 Andre Johnson
3 Ahmad Bradshaw
4 Demaryius Thomas
5 Shonn Greene
6 Philip Rivers
7 Fred Davis
8 Robert Griffin
9 Santonio Holmes
10 Darrius Heyward-Bey
11 Jared Cook
12 Robert Turbin
13 Detroit Defense
14 New England Defense
15 Randy Bullock

How did I do?

It is. People just want to practice. Lets split the difference and make everyone happy and say 10 days before the start of the draft you host the random. And the mods always need some time for the random and I personally would like some time to shop my spot lol

nto bad. could have gotten Turbin in the 15th to get better Defenses/kicker, but other than that, solid. I hate drafting 2 defenses though. Just wait and drop a scrub to pick one up

Id still be unhappy, lol. 10 days is enough time to do roughly a million mocks. Everyone will be there an hour early to see their spot, more than enough time to field trade offers. I'm not sure u are understanding the scope of making this change from a competitive standpoint. This is a fun first league, but I'm not trying to give the noobs any advantage.
