I've had some 2am bowling expeditions that definitely involved defense, but I don't recommend it...

Defense, in bowling, absolutely.

Just not your typical defense.

Send the other guy shots or food from the snack bar or start playing Justin Bieber on the jukebox

After much careful deliberation, I have decided that "In Rainbows" is Radiohead's second-best album.

"OK Computer" will never be eclipsed. By anything.

I think the second best album is Kid A.

The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows ... all incredible and distinct pieces of art in their own right. And believe me, I love Kid A. Over time, though, I find myself going back to In Rainbows much more often.

Having said that, "Everything in its Right Place" is probably my favorite Radiohead song ever.

Me and my cronies.

One of my favorites to play on the ol' git-fiddle.

I like 'True Love Waits'. Learned to play that on acoustic guitar.

Another good one ... surprised it took them so long to get a studio version of that on an album.

Technology has pushed people apart instead of bringing them closer together.

So much research proves this is true. If you needed research to prove what's fairly obvious.

Yep and a lot of businesses are going under because everything can be bought on line nowadays, we have lost one mall and 2 toys r us because of this.

So, last week was going pretty crappy...i come home to a note on my door-"please do something about your patio lights, i like it dark." neighbor who lives behind me.....

whatever---a couple years back, she griped with same concern. i appeased her by taking down one of the lights. Plus, i only have one light in the two-lite that is up now. i have an alley that runs through the back--so, there is quite a distance between our houses. there is also a 100ft pine tree and vegetation between us/canopy. Her bedroom is upstairs, and she lives in the city. wtf

i come home from work to a knock on the door---its Mary! "did you get my note?" Why-hello Mary, yes-i sure did. "are you gonna do anything about it?" uh-no, mary, hadnt crossed my mind. Its a minimal light on my property, securing my property. She implores..."But, its invading my space!"

whaaaaa? please repeat that statement....

"you are polluting my space! invading on my privacy" whaaaaa?

RU stuck on stupid? "ever heard of a curtain? or, a blackout shade for that matter if you need it so dark. you live in the city!" i have previously bowed to your request to keep the peace--but really?"

i am amazed at this woman as she continues to rant..."good day"

i shut the door. i expect a flat tire or something in my future.....

'Mary' seems a bland name for an urban vampire
I'd hang some garlic on that patio light, just in case
