My mother in law is a bank manager at BB&T and I've asked here generically about silver coins in general - she acted like it was all coins. I'll ask her again the next time I see her if it's all or just quarters.

I've found silver by buying boxes of wrapped coins from banks. I've found silver sitting in their change trays that are viewable while making a transaction. I'm not sure I agree that banks are culling them from circulation. Do you have anything to back this up?

I saw these were distributed exclusively by Gainesville Coins, I wonder if they are limited?

That's awesome! How often do you find coins while out with your metal dector?

Im guessing you mean silver coins it's really hit or miss sometimes I do well and sometimes I find nothing. If I hunt 3 times a week I find silver at least one of those times. But I always go home with a big handful of clad coins.

Due to a math error after this buy I'm only at 99.96 ounces not 100 guess I'll have to wait till next week to hit that milestone

So I decided to do a group shot of everything

This is 123 and change ounces of silver and 3/10ths of an ounce of gold

Breaks down like this

12 silver 1 oz generic rounds
22 gov issued 1 oz rounds
3 gov issued 2 oz rounds
13 1 oz silver bars
2 5 oz silver bars

90% silver us coins

21 silver dollars Morgan and peace
131 silver dimes
107 silver quarters
55 silver halves

1 war nickel
1 40% half
1 silver 3 cent piece

So I've set some goals for my stack for the rest of this year. I'd like to be between 200-250 ounces of silver and between 1.5 and 3 ounces of gold by Jan 1 2018
