I can't be the only one who found Scream Queens pretty funny. I had serious doubts so much so I ended watching The Muppets during the first half hour only to switch it over for the final hour and a half of the premiere. The jokes are hilarious. I'll definitely be watching again.

**Side note, Green Inferno comes out this weekend!

I thought that it was utterly hysterical. A lot of the criticism seems to be coming from the people that expected straight horror or don't understand what Murphy is trying to do.

Watched The Green Inferno this weekend. It was a typical Eli Roth film. A lot of gore and no horror. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Worth the watch for sure.

O wow, really?

I LOVED Hostel. LOVED the first half of Hostel 2 all the way upto the Bathtub bathing scene (you know what I mean), and then after that it seemed to drop off terribly.....never saw Hostel 3 because I heard it was so bad.

We are sick, sick, people

I want to see this movie so bad. I love me some Eli Roth films...

Lots of torture and cannibalism I'm assuming?

Eli Roth was good as The Bear Jew. But yeah, del Toro is the man! It's truly a shame when guys like him get their films messed around with by the studios. If you haven't done so already, I recommend listening to his commentary on Mimic. He needs to remake some Stephen King films....

Completely agree. A lot better than Hostel, IMO.

BINGO!!!!!! Enough to where it fits right into the movie and not enough to where you think, "Okay this is over the top and not needed" which is what I thought about Hostel.

I will get laughed at a lot for this one but...

Phantoms

The first time I watched it I was home alone and at night. It freaked me out. The first hour anyway, then it got real stupid. The timing and eerieness is really good. Not a very good movie, but scared me pretty good nonetheless.

I remember that movie. It wasn't all that bad but you're right, it started out a lot better than it ended.

Watched the ABCs of Death on Netflix... pretty boring .. A few were entertaining like D for dog Fight, N for Nuptials and Y for young Buck. L for Libido was the only one that tried to push any boundries. The rest of the movie is tame as hell. Is part 2 any better?

Also watched a movie called the Grabbers which was about aliens that invade ireland who don't like Alcohol so the town goes to the pub and gets S Faced and takes on the monsters. It was pretty decent. Not many good monster movies on Netflix The Host probably being the best one. Any other monster/creature movie recommendations on netflix?

I watched it recently (the full movie is on youtube). I thought it was pretty solid, definitely a fun watch.

Saw the green inferno tonight and wow was I underwhelmed. The plot and acting both were horrible imo. Too many stupid "funny" scenes as well.....just wasn't my cup of tea...liked Roth's Hostel MUCH better.

Saw The Visit the other day. It was pretty dang funny and some creepy parts as well. The little boy in it is hilarious.

Saw it tonight and loved it. Could have been even better in some parts but I was very pleased. The cackling pack of wild 14 year old girls in the theatre made it a challenge to sit through.
