I was just there last night. Went for the Reds game. Check out Arnold's, the oldest bar in Cincinnati! Awesome kind of haunting vibe that doesn't seem to have been tampered with too much. Have fun!

Skyline Chili in the Gaslight District, try to have breakfast at Echo. I'd also hit up the Rookwood if you like bar/restaurants.

Rheingeist Brewery

There are lots of fun things to do in the Nati - we do long weekend trips there all the time

If you are there when it is open Kings Island is a really fun amusement park just right outside of Cincinnati.

Only took 12 posts for one of these standard replies. Not bad.

Was shocked that I could be the a-hole to do it. I am usually way too late to the party.

That's what I mean. Usually it's by post 3 that someone says it.

overhyped. I don't think it's anything special, and definitely not worth the premium. If you want ice cream, go to Aglamicies. That #@#@#@#@ is great.

things to do- go catch a Reds game. the tickets are cheap. Bengals game, even a pre-season, is still pricey. After the reds game, check out the Banks next door. Bars and good food options.

If you want to get to the hipster crowd, take an uber to Over-The-Rhine. There are tons of bars that are popular with the hipster crowd. I would definitely recommend Bakersfield, as they have some amazing tacos.

Also, skyline is a must. The original on Ludlow is rundown but still great, but any skyline will do for the food. I would suggest trying Larosa's pizza, but i don't think it's worth the price.

what part of the city are you going to be in and what dates?

Go to Frankfort, KY to visit the Buffalo Trace distillery. Call ahead to see if you can attend their Hard Hat tour.

Well, can't say I agree my friend.

Want to experience the best? First leave Hamilton county. Over the Rhine is an overhyped rebuilt crime haven that very few find trendy.

Head out to West Chester or Mason areas. Visit Topgolf in West Chester, just opened. Tons of great restaurants as well. Very safe areas free of street crime.

Skyline Chili is on every block outside of the city. For Aglamicies ice cream hit the one on Montgomery Rd.

Larosa's is just ok. Price is fine though. They have "budget relief" Sunday-Thursday all day, every week. Buy 1 large, get a medium free. So basically 2 pizzas for about $13. 6.50 a pizza isn't bad at all. Far better than Little Ceasars. Personally, I'd recommend Grammas Pizza. Very good stuff.

I was there last month. The ice cream at Graeter's tasted like plastic. I wasn't impressed.

I went to a Reds game. I had a decent time, but it was really hot and humid. A lot of people around me left early because of it, and after a couple of hours it was pretty miserable.

There seem to be a lot of good card and comic shops in that area, but most of the places I visited were up near Dayton. I don't know if any of them were worth the drive from Cincinnati.

Graeters is just too expensive. You are talking about $4 for a scoop on a sugar cone. I can get, and prefer, Soft serve for under $2 anywhere. It's terribly overrated, same with Larosas.

well i don't really consider Mason and WC parts of cincinnati, mainly because it's a 20 minute drive from downtown. I just assumed he was looking for stuff in/near downtown.

also dude, if you got some expendable cash, hit up the casino. standard casino stuff, so it's nothing special.

and i certainly didn't know about the larosas budget relief. might have to get some larosas soon.

If you order Larosas online, go into the "coupons and deals" section. Put whatever large you want in your cart, then add a medium one topping pizza of your choice. Click the budget relief coupon, and it takes the price of the medium off. Only Sunday thru thursday, but it saves alot of money. I find we order papa johns on Mondays or Thursdays (half off with "foxoh" code), or we do larosas budget relief once a week. Cheap way to feed 5.

I haven't been down to Horseshoe/Jacks. Is it any good? Have you tried the restaurants?
