Well, if that a cover up, it's one of the better ones. He needs to get his house in order.

According to the release, Foster attempted to end his relationship with his now former girlfriend after learning of the fight between her and another woman.

"She was extremely upset and told him if he broke up with her she would 'trash his career,'" Rickard said.
Wait, so a jealous girlfriend gets in a fight with another friend of his....he doesn't want to be with a woman like that.....so he breaks up with her....and the result is her accusing him of assaulting her....oh, and while the cops are there, he has an assault rifle....fantastic

Most peoples first thought: OK, sure, she must have got paid off

But wait, here is video of the fight with the other woman....

Amazing what just an allegation can do to a career and the opinion of fans. Imagine if this happened during the season. He would have been suspended indefinitely.

Pretty crazy if true. I will need to eat some crowe as I said they should just release him immediately.

I always love when the the hoards come out saying someone should be released before he gets a trial, and saying things like no one else could have done it without knowing anything about the situation

Much like how supermodels know what's good for their careers and they eat well, avoid the fried foods, sugars, etc. in the name of being professional... Pro Athletes should have the same moral compass and knock off the recreational marijuana, drugs, excessive alcohol, etc. if they want to get sponsorship deals, stay on a team, and excel.

There's enough good talent with their heads on straight to make these "prospects" with potential become yesterday's news and the "Has Beens that Never Was" types.

Yep, and Elliott's case had much less legal involvement.

Zeke had 5 different domestic violence incidents against his GF.

not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5.

you cannot compare Foster and Zeke and put them in the same situation.

Yet Foster's incident received more attention from the legal system and Elliott's never went past investigation where proof and the young lady were pretty weak.

Elliott should have been booted from the league, thrown in jail, and should just about now getting released on parole. Just like he should have been jailed for drunk driving, speeding and leaving the scene of an accident. Gotta love the Ohio State police and it's local star treatment.

And nothing happened when Hunt was accused. Why is Elliott any different when the legal system treats both the same way?

And I believe T.Hill has had an issue with DV in his past as well.

I don't think Hunt or Hill have anything to do with Elliott. Why not bring up Lawrence Taylor...who of course has nothing to with Elliott either.

What would happen to normal people if they got in a drunk driving accident, left the scene of the accident, and found a little later...drunk driving again (on a bicycle)...is they go to jail. That's pretty simple. Your fan goggles need cleaned.

Same thing as if me and a girlfriend, got in several fights, leaving marks all over her body, and it looks like she is guilty as well.....we would both go to jail.

Back on topic, apparently the woman did this to another man years ago and that man got time in jail. What went against her aside from above, was a video of the road rage fight and the fact she stole from Reuben. She apparently took cash and jewelry from him, including 2 rolex watches.....after the break up.
