And the same goes for Oklahoma. They play very little defense. I don't think Oklahoma could even beat Notre Dame. Clemson is very good, but with a freshman quarterback, I don't think they can outlast Alabama. This is Alabama's title. I hate it, but they do almost everything right.

My god the amount of SEC bias in this thread is amazing. It's like people don't realize how great OU's offense is this year, despite losing key guys to injuries at points throughout the season.

Once again: I don't like the SEC. FSU is my team. I don't like the SEC at all. I'll pull against the SEC every time, unless it helps the Noles.

If their offense is THAT good I can’t imagine why they would be a 14 point underdog.... |

Then start conference play earlier and get the cupcakes off the schedule. Heck make the 12-team conferences play 11 conference games (instead of 9 + 3 non-conference cupcakes).

Ohio State plays Penn State then Michigan in consecutive weeks next year. Drop one of the conference games, add Youngstown State, and make it easy on yourself. It also lets all your teams artificially boost SOS.

I tell ya this... ND is a better team this year than they were last year, and UGA is a worse team this year than they were last year. So to talk about how Georgia would demolish ND is a joke when last year's game was decided by a single point. |

Heard a stat today that Georgia was either tied or leading Alabama for 128 out of 130 minutes the last 2 games. (including OT)
Clearly the 3rd best team but I’m fine with giving Oklahoma a shot, but I don’t think anybody (including Clemson) would be able to do that vs Bama. That’s damn impressive. |

Clemson actually did something more impressive the last 2 games vs Alabama , they actually won one game as oppose to losing both (don’t matter close or not )

It's actually worse for Oklahoma. Odds makers and everyone saw Georgia almost beat Bama yet they still have Bama two td faves over Oklahoma. That's bad news Oklahoma.

You guys are either going to stand behind your power rankings or you're not. If you're going to be wishy washy depending on how it makes the SEC look, then just be a fan boy and quit pretending as though you rely on math and science.
