Flat earther has to go. Now the question is his replacement. Rose most likely.

With all of the lip service Kyrie has given Lebron, this is a surprise.

Where the hell did this come from? What an odd time to rock the boat.

I'm legitimately mad at this news. I blame it all on Gilbert he's driving everyone away.

It's saying he wants a bigger role. Second in command on a championship caliber team isn't enough?

Maybe we can just have Kyrie traded to the West, have Lebron sign w the Lakers next year and then just shut down the Eastern Conference? Everybody good w that?

Lol he wants to be the focal point in an offense. A pg that plays little to no defense, isn't a great natural passer...

Every year without Lebron they were a lottery pick lock when Kyrie was at the helm.

Good luck with that.

Man, I really hope the rumor is false, but hard to believe it is false from Windhorst.

With news that Derrick Rose wants to play in Cleveland, if they replace Kyrie with a guy who can't stay healthy, they better hope they get a good backup PG because it's inevitable with Rose nowadays that he will get hurt and miss about 15-20 games.

He definitely knows something we don't know. But I think there's more to your comment as well than probably most people want to believe

If Kyrie wants to be the man, go ahead and trade him. As a Cleveland fan I would take a 35 year old Lebron over Kyrie in his prime if I had to choose one "leader". There are plenty of young players who would love to come play with Lebron, and even established vets who would be fine with 2nd or 3rd fiddle. Kyrie is a huge trade chip with 2 guaranteed years left. Cavs need to sit down with Lebron and work on scenarios to keep Lebron here and movie Kyrie for usable assets.

You know which team has the best assets for Kyrie?

Give you 3 guesses and rhymes with Boston

Danny Ainge must be loving this potential implosion.

Exactly what I was thinking, but it's the PG position that is the sticking point, imo. They cannot rely on Rose, for example, to win NOW, and that's what they have to do to keep Lebron (happy).

Maybe work in a trade to get Carmelo out of NY and send Kyrie there?

No way they sign Kyrie while still having Isaiah. Isaiah will not play 2nd fiddle to Kyrie and vice versa.

I was thinking Knicks.

Kyrie/Frye/Felder for Carmelo.
