Good news on Patrice Bergeron

Concussion isn't nearly as bad as what happened last year, looks like he'll be back after the new year.

Not to be negative but HTH can they tell how bad it is ? After seeing all the crap Lindros went through during his career in Philly, it seems like there is no real way to diagnose the severity or the timetable on a return. Hell, they kept saying Gagne was coming back last year as well and that was his first concussion unlike Bergeron. All it takes is a few headaches and the docs won't clear him to play.

Having had four of them myself, I know that it will probably be a long road back. There is a chance he is done as a player, but as long as the guy can function in life that is good news. Frankly after seeing him go down, that was my primary concern.

Of course when I was playing and getting these things, if you could say your own name and not pee in your pants they pronounced you fit to play.
