My latest pickup. It's so hard to find OPC cards with good centering, so a find like this is a treat. It's not perfect, but I'll take it considering it's an OPC issue:

75s are the worst for centering

Been a long time since I've picked up any vintage cards, but had a recent opportunity to add these two tough 70's RCs to my collection:

This one is notoriously hard to find centered:

This one is notoriously hard to find without stray black ink (PD):

Very nice Molitor/Trammell. Much less black smudge than most. Really great for the grade.

This card is borderline vintage, but I thought I would share it anyway. It's an outstanding example of a PSA 8. Great centering with sharp corners and absent the typical flaws of poor registration, snow, PD, and the print line on the bottom. Really happy to add this iconic card to my PC:

Very nice stuff.

One thing that jumped out to me was the unitas mini. Does the authentication label inscription? It looks like a different pen.

I haven't posted in this thread for awhile, because I haven't purchased any vintage cards to my liking lately. I did come across this in a box the other day and thought I would share it. Even though Feller was a prolific signer, you won't find too many signed copies of this "RC" floating around:

Do you have a '54 Aaron? That is my all-time favourite card and I love seeing them.. I myself am on the hunt for a nice PSA 2 with solid centering

Not anymore. I had to sell this one during my divorce. I'm on the hunt for a new one.

From the front it looks like a 9. When I took a look at the back, both bottom corners have a small touch on them, and I think that's why it graded an 8. I still think it should have been an 8.5 though with the centering that it has.

It's been a long time since I've picked up any vintage, but I was fortunate enough to win an auction for this really nice '61 Mays last week:

And while these don't meet my usual centering standards, I picked these up from Houdini's '59 Topps set break and thrilled to have them. The Musial is an exceptionally nice looking card for the grade!

Musial now Sold.
