1993 Jeter SP Crossover
So I am going to try my luck with a crossover. I bought a BGS 9 (2x9.5 and 2x9) and I bought a SGC 9. They will arrive this week and I am going to ship them to PSA. Please let me know your thoughts. I know it is a long shot but I think they look good and they backs don’t show the signs of trimmed card.
Here are a few pics: SGC 9 BGS 9 Sorry for the blurry pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Play the lottery instead. Less effort and the same odds.

Almost every Jeter in a SGC case has a gap. Even the SGC 98 that sold for $60000 had a gap. Why would any card be in a SGC? That statement makes no sense to me. Well I hope it comes back a PSA 9 but if not I still have a super nice PC card:-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is there a minimum grade you are going to tell PSA or you going to roll the dice and take whatever grade they give?

dont get your panties in a wad when you post a question and dont get the answer you wanted. and the sgc holder question? really? sgc is primarily pre-war and vintage, not 93 shiny. and here’s the real question? why are you buying bgs and sgc 93 jeters tryng to get them into psa holders, instead of just buying a psa 9? the answer is already burried in my first reply. but dont take it from a guy that landed a 10 or a psa/dna 9. but best of luck. especially on the sgc. |

Hey bud... panties not in a wad. Not mad at all. I like the SGC holder. All the companies grade modern cards and they are all “good” at it, haha If I can spend 1/2 the price and get a PSA 9 it is worth the try. It is fun for me and if they don’t cross then I have two really great cards. If they do cross then I make a little money and keep one in the collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So I compared the 3 major companies. Here are the gem mint and mint for each company. SGC looks to be the hardest on grading and the bring the 2nd most money.
SGC Total graded: 2189 1 98 .04% 76 96 3.4% PSA Total graded: 14267 PSA 10- 22 1.5% PSA 9582 4% BGS Total graded 14405 9.5- 240 1.6% 9- 2287 15.8% Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

and you dont think that card has been to psa already? or the $60k one (if that sale was even legit, which has been questioned by several people). if i were buying 93 sp’s to cross, i would look for the bgs ones, not sgcs. honest answers. |

I was just trying to find the nicest cards regardless of the holder. The SGC I picked has really good corners(no white on them) great centering and good edges. I think it looks great. I have never tried to cross a card between any company so it is a learning experience. I appreciate the feedback though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Of course it don’t make sense you bought one. It usually goes like this for this card Bgs reject trim Psa rejects for trim Sgc let’s it go Not sure why with this card but they favor it. So that’s “why” it makes sense to either a trimmer or a person stuck with a trimmed card to play hot potato

So what is the correct size? What are the signs of trimming? I will measure when I get the card in hand. Have you had experience with SGC Jeter SP cards before? Or are you just going off what other people said? Thanks for the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
