Default Guess there is FOTL Optic

Was poking around Panini's reward app and clicked on News. Found this....

"Enjoy the Quality Control Gallery and be sure to visit iCollectPanini.com on Wednesday starting at 10 a.m. CST to preorder the limited-edition “1st Off The Line” edition of 2017-18 Donruss Optic Basketball featuring exclusive Purple Stars parallels numbered to just 13."

I didn't see anything on the site about it. It's usually posted by now, isn't it? Just not available for sale yet.

This is a surprise. I don't know why but I feel wary about this one

I wonder what the price is. Blowout had it at $96 for a while I think so MSRP would be lower than that I'd think.

I'd have to think so purely on the msrp pricing alone

Does this mean the Optic hobby release will get delayed? It usually says 2-3 weeks before release so my guess is hobby will release on April 11th instead of the 4th.

EDIT: Never mind it says next week early in the post.

It'll be solid but the exclusive parallel print run creeping up from 8 in previous FOTL releases to 13 will ding the value compared to what Prizm/Select looked like.

Still makes it a good value but not the huge flip we've seen before with the other ones.

Select was obviously /9 but had a 300 card base set. How many are in the optic base set?

I think they were trying to keep it low key...

Incorrect if you count rookies, I believe.

150 plus 50 rookies. So 200

There will ALSO be a Premium Box Set on the Panini website soon, so we can add that to the endless different ways to buy Donruss Optic

200 x 13 = 2600 boxes

versus Select

300 x 9 = 2700 boxes

So, the FOTLs will have about equal print runs. Those sold out in 30 minutes. I'm guessing 15 on these.
