2 Things

First of all, my comment was specific to left handed pitching against LAD. How many of those All-Stars can hit left handed pitching?

Second of all, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Somehow lately the Giants dont feel like rivals. Not to mention there are probably 5000 Dodger fans at this game. This stuff never used to happen....is this a new PC Giants peace treaty I was not informed about? If I knew there were going to be so many Dodger fans at this series I would have went to SanF watching the Dodgers for a first ever in that city!
Cant wait till they come to Seattle already got my weekend planned!

The Pantone 294 club attends pretty much all LA road games these days with a pretty big contingent. It would be unusual not to hear them make some noise throughout during pretty much any Dodger road game.

Good game today. Rich Hill pulled a little too early, as usual, but neither he or the Giants starter Stratton will have anything to do with the decision.

Clutch Utley with a big homer to tie it up in the top of the 7th...

...and superb relief from Kenta in the bottom of the 7th.

Strip strikes out Pence, Belt, and Crawford in the bottom of the 8th, but the Dodgers are only 1 for 12 with runners in scoring position. Need something here in the 9th. Top 'o the order up...

Here's Panik with another chance at a game winner.
Dodgers have struck out 15 over 8.1.
Will need a few more...

Dodger and the Giants seem very evenly matched this year. Too early to tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing. They'll have played 10 times by the end of April.

Update:
Logan Forsythe, currently at .107, puts the Dodgers ahead in the top of the 14th.
Will it hold? They were just in a similar spot against the D'Backs, but gave that one up in the 15th...

Credit to the San Fran crowd for sticking it out and making plenty of noise to inspire the rally, and what a reward they got.
Great game. McCutchen with 6 hits, and the Giants' recent lopsided home-field advantage over LA continues...

Not too worried about the Dodgers, though. They didn't start out great last year either, and they clearly have fight in them. Back at it tomorrow.

The sewage pouring out onto the field before the season started was an omen of things to come for the Dodgers this season

Were gonna be ok.

Our pitching has been mostly fantastic. Just not hitting.

Another good one today. Dodgers had a 1-0 lead in the 8th and pulled Kershaw when he gave up back to back singles to start the inning. Chargois relieved and gave up the game-tying RBI to pinch-hitter Buster, but then got a double play, after which Cingrani finished putting the fire out. A no-decision for Clayton.
Top of the 9th, tie score.

When these two teams face, stats don't apply.

Longoria almost endeared himself to the SF faithful in a hurry, McCutchen-style, with that deep drive to end the 9th. Hearts were beating on both sides with that one off the bat.

Nice double for Cody to start the 10th...

Farmer comes through, bigly. Guess they should've had a lefty in there.

Now holding on to it, that's the tricky part...

Somebody should tell the league that the Dodgers and Giants only play 143 games a year! Not fair to the players that stats don't count for over 10% of the season.

Well, if it happens again, at least this one was only 10 innings, instead of 15 and 14 like before. But still, three times in one week to take the lead in extras on the road only to lose? Hopefully, that's too unlikely to actually happen.
