I'm already shocked. I watched him a bunch in his last season at UF, and man it was kind of bizarre. Got the sense that he was doing this just because the had the talent (which, lets be honest, happens from time to time). His impact dropped off quite a bit that last year, and I swore he would never be a guy that got to the bigs.

He's been surprising this year, and maybe those tools translate after all...

He's got a really funky delivery and I don't think the Angels made all those off-season moves to just try and get to the playoffs. I really hope this kid gets a serious shot to show what he's got later this year.

Iíd love to see him be part of an Angels playoff run. They either feel heís got a chance to help them make a run and they are conserving his innings or they are still worried about his work load in college. Either way heís been pretty dominant so far.
