Before Gerald Green even attempted his no net double dunk, Kenny Smith is telling everyone on the air what Green is going to do. WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU TELL US EXACTLY WHAT HE IS ABOUT TO DO. No wonder this Slam Dunk Contest crap is declining in popularity.

In the end it doesn't matter because he did not complete the dunk in the given time. Additionally, once he did the dunk after the time was up, it was so lame that he should not have even attempted it in the first place...

Barkley is the worst sportscaster there is. That was by far the worst part of it. He wouldnt stop talking about random stupid #@#@#@#@.

The dunk contest has sucked for a few years now. Why even bother having it anymore unless you're going to get guys like Lebron in it.

they screwed james white over.

this dunk contest had all the pieces to make it a real great one. just fell short.

the last round picked it up though. not as terrible as some of the past ones...

Then players would go for basic dunk rather than trying to do something risky. Also, most players don't even have 5 dunks under their sleeves to pull out during the contest.

why do people say this? Has anyone ever seen lebron do a 360 dunk (i'm sure he has on occasion) or a between the leg dunk, around the back dunk?

He is a power dunker, i don't really see him doing all sorts of acrobatic, high vertical, staying in the air forever dunks.
