Here is one of Alex Horley's "Creator Sketch Cards." As a base set artist, his sketch cards have a special back design and a green logo on the front (rather than red).

He is doing a VERY limited number of sketches.

oh yeah... Yes Ted. Those were on his instagram or something. I dont' know. I can't keep up with all this social networking stuff. I saw them on his blog. I dig them. I saw some APs he did for the last set, which I also enjoyed (even though they were just martian heads).

Horley is a master, and he is very much in demand. He and I have become friendly (after art directing his paintings for the base set) and I asked him to do some cards as a personal favor. I handed him his blanks personally at SDCC, with no instructions other than we'd appreciate whatever he could offer, knowing how busy he is.

My expectations were some B&W head sketches, maybe a color or two in basic brush strokes. I was definitely NOT expecting miniature masterpieces. Certainly nothing against anything the other creators are providing, but I was just blown away when I received these last night!
