Default How does International buyer use BIN when I say No Intl Shipping?

Guys,
I'm a little confused. I had my Sportkings Pele auto on eBay with a BIN of $275. and accepted anything higher than $250. Someone from Australia hit BIN and won it at $255. I haven't replied yet to their win. The item was listed with shipping to the United States only.

Did I miss something that would have prevented any international bidder from bidding automatically? It's just a pain in the neck now either delaying my sale to a U.S. buyer or having to ship to Australia.

Pele 2009 Sportsking Silver Auto /20 - eBay (item 290337646563 end time Aug-07-09 00:50:06 PDT)

Thanks,
Vinny

I admit, I like collectibles for the action. Buying, selling, prospecting, gambling, etc., are parts of the fun. I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer.
