Default Box of 2002 Playoff Contenders

Picked this one up at a good price. Hoping I would hit another Peppers plus I've never opened this box. Didn't hit any of the big 3 rookies. Pretty tough to hit them. The set is 186 cards with 100 base and 86 rookies. In this box I got 87 base, 10 subsets, 2 rookie autos and 1 championship ticket. I think that's about normal. Fun break even though I didn't hit any big ones and my championship ticket was the wrong Patriot...

For some reason I thought Julius Peppers was a redemption. I know Jeremy Shockey was, and he never signed stickers... Either way I love 2002 Contenders. Would've been nice to hit an Ed Reed! He isn't so rare

Yeah, I knew the Peppers was doubtful since there are only 40 of those. But I was hoping for Reed or Freeney. Got two duds instead. Can't decide whether to try another one or go back to Chrome.

Whatever product you decide on, please keep these 2002 breaks coming!
I'm loving them.

Thanks. For me there are a few great things about these boxes from 2002 -
-most of them are still relatively cheap
-it's great seeing these cards of guys I grew up watching but never really collected back then
-I don't have to keep all of the cards to see if someone becomes great. Pretty much know everyone already so I can keep what I like and give the rest away.
