The Big Ten West is really the only rough spot in this break.

Also just realized the price of the case went up as well a decent amount

I’d argue pac12 north and acc coastal also pretty weak.

I’d personally like to shelve this one. While I didn’t sign up for flawless, I’d be willing to join that one if it meant moving on from this one. While I budgeted for this one when I joined nearly 5 weeks ago, my budget now is marked for flawless. I’d prefer a different format than what is currently proposed which is why I didn’t join, but with regards to NT, I already feel a bit maxed out on the product.

We could transition it to Flawless because that releases soon and find a breakdown thatíll be around the same price potentially?

I’m actually ok with the price point, just not thrilled that someone will get stacked divisions and someone will get poor divisions. Although flawless does a better job than NT with the vet autos which mitigates that somewhat. But I’d prefer random teams or players. Can still keep it at 10 spots, but that way UCLA and USC aren’t grouped, Ohio State, Penn state Michigan aren’t grouped. Everyone would probably have a fair balance of a few good teams and a few not so good.

We could potentially draft teams, but not all. So say we do a 3-4 round snake style draft of teams, and then the rest are ransomed off evenly?

Not a bad idea and Iíd be for it, although person picking first next picks 20th. Kinda rough...

But you are picking the most valuable team which could provide the highest return. Risk versus reward.

How should they be split then? At the end of the day there is not 20 amazing teams to hit. You have the main QB schools, any top RB schools or top of the line veterans and then a handful of hopeful veteran schools/lower end rookie schools that obviously provide lower value

With random team/player, it could end up loaded just like how divisions are. Some people will have top names, others will not. At least draft style as a chance of mitigating some of the value discrepancy

Just for the sake of discussion:

If there were a team that had far and away the best player/card, Iíd agree with the draft. But I think you could argue that 4 or 5 teams are the ďbestĒ, therefore I personally would not want the top spot. Which feels a bit strange to me. A break draft where I donít want the top spot? With the random players/teams sure you might get screwed, things might get lopsided, but based on the law of averages, it is actually the best way to prevent against that sort of thing. With spots being $250, thatís what I prefer.

That being said, Iíd be fine with a draft, although you know my preference.

I preferred divisions, yes there are bad ones, but to me ACC Coastal is best on what I collect, so someone would be unhappy, but I would be excited. Plus, divisions to me are like any random sometimes you just get bad teams, haven’t seen a break where they all are good

Fair enough. The reason I didn’t join the flawless break is because I don’t prefer the division format there, but I’d prefer it to this NT Break. Just kinda sucks to know that someone (potentially 2 or 3 in my opinion) is almost guaranteed to get a bit screwed with their divisions in an expensive break. At least with random teams you don’t have people who are guaranteed to get screwed going into it. Maybe after the random someone may get screwed, but at least you have a chance that everyone could get a couple good teams. Not the case with divisions

Been 44 days since group opened up and no new traction. Am going to tap out of this. We honor our commitments, but 1/9th of the year is too much especially for a Collegiate Product. We love Matt's breaks and plan to join more in the future.

Agree with cavaliercards. Been here since the beginning, but at some point (month and a half of waiting) Iím out. Again, if Iím the only reason this isnít happening Iíll join back, but doesnít look like that will be the case. Really appreciate Mattís breaks and hope to join in future ones.

It has been too long so canceling this is probably best

Iíll jump in and agree with all of the above. I was really looking forward to this but a lot of time has passed and weíre getting close to so many new releases that are more likely to fill faster.
