Went back to the well one more time today and was finally denied an auto or a patch. I got a thick Brian Hartline, a refractor Brandon Pettigrew #/999 and a red refractor #/25 of Javon Ringer. Still a very fun product to open.

My luck on these came to a screeching halt last night. Best card was a white refractor LeSean McCoy #/499 (the white refractors are gorgeous cards). Rookies of Crabtree and Beanie Wells. Two thick cards of nobodies.

Yuck. I've got three more over the past couple weeks and pulled nothing but a couple of refractors and one white refractor. Should have quit while I was ahead.

Topps keeps shipping out fresh blasters. They stuff the early ones to get you hook and shove crap in the latter releases. I know that sounds paranoid but it happens a lot. I went through about 100 boxes of 2003 Prestige when it 1st came out I was getting tons of logo patches and hot boxes and great autos. after the 1st few months of busting the last 50 I opened were all bunk with plain jerseys and redemptions for autos

two target stores just got in 8 boxes of the platinum blasters each. And i found two boxes each at two different Pamida stores. Both pamida stores had autos in both boxes. At target, one store had two boxes with autos, the other 6 boxes had a white and a blue refractor instead of autos. The other Target had 6 of eight boxes hitting with autos. I have realized now though that all the boxes with autos no longer have boxes with auto patches in them that I was hitting at first. Its been a good ride. Especially hitting harvin, stafford, and greene autos today.

Yeah, I blew some change... but it was fun. Pamida had a buy 1 get 1 50percent off sale, so both blasters for 30 dollars. I got some pretty good cards out of it though. Got a Stafford Blue /99 as well as his auto. a couple of the autos were to /25. I got an austin collie /25. I figured 12 autos for less than 400 about the same as buying hobby. I should of stopped buying at the last target but kept waiting for a few more autos in the last few boxes. Oh well... Im on vacation this week and not doing much but going thru cards and it was a blast to open pack after pack, even if it was retail. Wait til friday for my blowout order now to bust some more of some other products.

Who were all the autos, and did you get any Wells Laurinaitis or Robiskie of white refractors, blue refractors, or Robiskie base auto?

Broke a promise to myself today and I'm pretty glad I did. The first two packs seemed like a bad omen:

--Jason Smith Thick RC
--Jarrett Dillard Refractor RC

After those packs i was kicking myself for getting the blaster (figuring those would be the only numbered cards in the box) but then things turned around nicely:

--Mark Sanchez Thick RC #/1549
--Ramses Barden Auto #/850
--Mike Wallace Blue Refractor #50/99

Not bad at all, I love the refractors in this product.

Wish they had made a red, white and blue refractor--maybe in baseball?

I just bought a few sealed boxes of this retail platinum product. Have any of you people who opened the blasters opened the regular retail packs? Are they the same as the retail packs that come in the blasters? I should have them in a few days and wanted to see if any of you had any luck with the packs?

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Where did you buy the sealed retail boxes from? I wouldn't mind getting a couple of those.

I pulled a Donald Brown Rookie Refractor Patch Auto /150 out of a retail pack (non-blaster). I'd also be curious to know where you got them!
