Default The Official Topps/Bowman Redemption Update Thread
Post any and all updates on redemption statuses as well as the latest horror stories of pending redemptions. A lot of us try to get updates on our redemptions that others are waiting on as well. This would be a good way for everyone to stay updated on pending redemptions. We are all collectors here and we are all in the same boat when it comes to this pathetic redemption game. Post Away!

Yeah, I heard he had signed, I waited 6 months before asking for a replacement, ended up getting a 2011 Bowman Chrome Stetson Allie Base Auto.

Still waiting for Weaver Jumbo Relic Book and Trout/Weaver Book Dual auto... and they've both signed redemptions in the past month. Also waiting on Wade Miley to sign his Sterling.

Kinda funny, I got my Derek Norris a few days ago and I'm still waiting on my 2010 Montero green refractor from platinum. I know the card is live, but they won't ship it.

I pulled a Brett Cecil auto relic refractor out of 2011 Platinum in January 2012. I got a message in April 2012 that he wasn't signing, so I was due a replacement.

6 weeks ago, they said they'd ship me the replacement. Last week, they said they "overlooked it", and would "get it right out to me".

Still waiting.

Here's a fun one for you... 2012 A&G Framed Auto of Bryce Harper. It shipped, bounced back to Topps because I was on a business trip and I had no idea they were coming so I had no plans to have anyone pick it up for me at the post office. I called to try and get it reshipped, no dice after two months. Send an e-mail, no word for a month. Call again, get promised it's being shipped like the first phone call (we'll see). Finally get word back from the e-mail I sent. Reply?

Words to the effect of: "Sometimes it's necessary to include redemptions in products. If we can't get them to sign the cards in a reasonable time frame, we can offer you a replacement. Please let us know what you would like to do by replying to this e-mail."

My reply (words to the effect of): "You didn't read my e-mail. At all. Harper has SIGNED these cards. I could go and buy one or two off eBay right now. It was at my doorstep at one point, I just wasn't there to get it. If you want me to pay for shipping, fine, send me a bill, just ship me the card again please."

Their reply to that: Same as above.

They don't even read their e-mails. Probably does a match to key words, i.e. 'Redemption' and insert blurbage for why we have redemptions.

Lame.

I kinda find it funny that I told you your letter was rude, and in turn you call me a scum bag. Makes sense If you're going to start drama please get off this thread. I'm simply starting a thread for people to post updates about pending redemptions.

So far my experience has gone somewhat smoothly. I logged into the redemption center this morning to find that all of my Pat Light and Richie Shaffer cards have been marked "shipped." How long does this "shipping" process usually take?

I think it takes a couple weeks. I think they mark it as shipped when they start packaging the cards up.
