but what did it sell for is the question....$12k? 10k? its been on ebay for about a week now...after his goal the other day ida put it at $36k lol I think the Ronaldo is worth more...

I saw the card listed (across the top of this forum) and laughed at the price tag.

It's ugly, and a sticker auto, and as far as I'm aware there isn't a 'flipping/prospecting' market for soccer cards.

It's not Prizm, but vintagesnowmobiles is asking $15k for this Durant 1/1. They've got some nice cards but their prices are stupid.

I suppose I would have enough to buy a very nice car, but I'd probably limit it to like a Land Rover or a high end Jeep. I've always viewed nice cars as an unnecessary luxury. the way people are complaining about it having a sticker auto, so if it was an on-card auto itd be worth it? the worst part of the card is that its ugly and his photo doesnt even really look sharp. the base 1/1 in this post looks much better. not that id know him if he came up to me and told me who he was anyway. if that card gets paid for it must be the owner of some huge argentinian company or something like that, who else is gonna pay $14k for that.

Spot on.

People don't realize that Football players are gods in Europe and South America. They go crazy for mid range players.

Maradona and Messi are worshiped.

No idea if that price is real though.

But football doesn't have near the amount of cards that NBA guys have. Looks to be his best card so far. Much Like Lebron's 03/04 Exquisite.

His Prizm Auto /25 is solid at over $2k. That's probably more than what Lebron would bring in.
