Just wanted to say thank you for the sale of the promo card. Being new I don’t know how recorded positive feedback works on here, but at least it’s here publicly for others to see how great and trusted you are as a seller.

Dangit, it's releasing April 27th...
Hey, KardKat if I had sold you a card I would have given you a positive feedback as soon as you had paid me!

What's wrong with that date? Other releases around the same time?

I'm really curious to see what they do with the set, TONS of potential here

You basically are buying a piece of the case with a bunch of other people. Everyone who bought into the case will be randomized into a list and the order of that list is what order you get to pick something that was in the case. The person who got #1 gets to pick what they want, then #2 goes and so on until everything that was in the case is taken.

Is Rick and Morty one of those shows in the nostalgic references and over the top snarky characters of the "if you like The Family Guy, you'll like Rick and Morty" genre?

I've not seen the show, but from what I hear about it, it sounds like that.

There is very little as to the way of nostalgic references. The show doesn't milk the member berries by any means. Rick and Morty is over the top, but in a different way. It's sci-fi so it doesn't feel as though it's stretching to far. I can't stand Family Guy but love Rick and Morty. That's my two cents.

I despise Family Guy and I despised Rick and Morty's first 3 episodes. I thought the humour was offensive just for the sake of being offensive. And then, something happened in the show (I wont spoil it) that makes everything click, and you see the characters in a new light. It is special and amazing but certainly not for everyone.

Read a post on Twitter and saw on eBay that promo card P3 featuring the Meeseeks, is available at Wondercon.
If anyone is attending, would you be kind enough to pick up a spare card, will obviously pay you for it.
I already have P1 and P2, so whilst the promo cards are being released, it’s nice to start off the collection that I aim to complete.

Oddly, "Rick and Morty" also has its share of nostalgic references and over the top snarky characters, but somehow is nothing like "Family Guy".

R&M uses them in a sarcastic way and only in mentions, whereas family guy has the character show up or does a cutaway scene.

Both are great in their own ways, but completely different humor.

That would be awesome if you could, if they come with the magazine i will definitely take that too! Just make sure it is P1 (the card with both rick and morty on the front, black background etc.) I already have P2.

I love both Family Guy and Rick & Morty. Although one thing I will say about Rick & Morty is that there's a constant theme of death and killing, more than your average animated show like Family Guy or The Simpsons. Even though it's animated it might be a lot to take in if it's your first time watching.

Attending the Philly Non-Sports Card Show in Allentown April 7-8? If so, stop by the Cryptozoic tables and try the Promo Card Exchange. We bring extra Cryptozoic promo cards that have been distributed elsewhere to trade with attendees for their unwanted Cryptozoic promo cards.

Limit of 5 trades per person per day. While supplies last.
